sistic acne and how to treat?
Ive had a pimple on my nose since christmas . At first i thought it was a blind pimple so i waited until it has a head to pop it. Once i popped it it turned into a scab but when the scab fell off there was another pimple so the next time i didnt pop it i put hydrogen peroxide on it and it turned into a scab and when the scab fell off there was another one!!! so now im just waiting for it to go away and im using TermaNator for acne and its kind of working but it still hurts like a blind pimple and its still there. my mom told her friend about it and she said it was Sistic acne! what is that??

How do i train my 1yr cat to stop pulling up my carpet?
I have a new burberry carpet and she is addicted to pulling up the loops in the carpet. She loves string! I have given her 2 Sistic posts, as well several toys to play with to deter her. I have used a spray bottle when she is in the act but shes has already done the damage (usually done when im sleeping near sunrise). Ive sprayed the carpet with Pet Organics"No Scratch" from Petco, but the cat still insists on the pulling up the carpet. Ive also yelled "NO" when she is lowering her head to start the act of pulling up the carpet, but doesnt work either. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me out?
Answer: Yes, I had the same problem, so I can certainly relate to your dilemma. Here are a few possible solutions to your problem. I read about them, and they worked for me.
First, I would like to just ask, if nothing works, please, please, do not declaw her. It is the equivalent to us having the tips of our fingers cut off down to the first joint. Many, many cats suffer permanent pain from nerve damage. It makes many cats unable to use their litter boxes because scratching the gravel hurts too much, or if they still use it, they are suffering. Also, many cats start to bite. This is because they no longer have their main form of defense; this can make them bite out of fear. And if, heaven forbid, she should get out & get lost, she will have no way to defend herself or to catch food.
Anyway, that said, here are several suggestions:
I don't know if you have any of the carpet pieces left, but if you do, or if you can get a small piece, this is what you do.
Take a scratching post and nail a piece of the carpet around it. Put the post somewhere and bring the cat to it. Take her paws & gently pull them down the post, giving her the idea. It worked for one of my cats.
If you do not have any carpet pieces left, try this. I know you said you bought her 2 sisal posts. They also sell scratching posts made with carpet around it. That's for cats who obviously love to scratch carpets. Buy her 1 or 2 of those. Train her the same way.
Every time you see her start to go for your carpet, yell "NO" and pick her up, bring her to the post & train again. It takes a lot of dedication to train some of them away from carpets.
For one of my cats, I had to buy a very small area rug just for her. I didn't put it on the carpet she liked, because that would have been too confusing. I put it outside the room with the carpet; so, when she started on my carpet, I picked her up & put her on her own little rug. It worked.
With my current 2 "angels," I have come to enjoy the beautiful wood floors that were under my carpets :)

What can you do if you find out that your unborn baby might have Sistic Fibrosis?
The good news is we found out we are having a girl.I am 19 weeks and 3 days. She was moving a bunch in the ultrasound. Im scared because the docotor said that they found a very white shiny piece of something in the intestinses. They said it could be Sistic Fibrosis. I just hope that in August at the next ultrasound check up that the babys intentesines will not swell up. Love my little baby Autum Elizabeth.

Just so you know, that brightness in the bowel is only a marker for Cystic Fibrosis - that does not mean that the baby for sure has CF; it could just be an incidental finding.

can anyone tell me anything about PCOS- poly sistic ovarian syndrome?

Answer: I can tell you alot because I have it. PCOS affects about 10 percent of women, the hall mark is abdominal obesity, hair growth and infertility. It is VERY important to get seen by an endocrinologist not just a family doctor because it has very serious implications. The long and short is that your hormones go crazy causing infertility (if you don't have kids by age 25 your chances are very low of ever having children) most women have to see a fertility specialist to get pregnant (Kate Gosselin has PCOS that's how she has 2 sets of multiples because she had to see a fertility Dr to get pregnant!). More dangerously it causes high blood pressure- I was 23 when I had to take medication for my blood pressure, it causes type 2 diabetes which often goes undiagnosed- I was 27 when they diagnosed me but had it for several years. PCOS also causes high triglycerides and cholesterol which leads to heart disease and stroke- I have had high cholesterol since I was a teenager. Unfortunately for me I was mishandled and misdiagnosed for many years and now at 38, am almost in a wheelchair because of diabetes and have so many other health problems they are too many to list and I have to take over $1000 worth of medication every month and am in constant pain from neuropathy, also caused by diabetes. My only wish is that someone would have been honest and told me all this in the beginning. Please see a doctor- get checked- don't smoke and have kids early. Acne & sistic pimples?
I have had skin problems for 10 years. have tried every face wash/treatment/lotion from ubber expensive to cheap grocery store products. Including La Mer, Clinic, Retin-A, Pro-Active, Dr. Murad, Nutrogena, you get the point by now I am sure. Non of that worked.
This past week I stopped drinking coffee and soda. And anything with caffeine in it. And my skin is now clear, and even tones. No more pimples or uneven tones.
Did anyone else try the same thing by eliminating coffee and soda?

if your taking a taxi or park in the front car park you should find it just infront of you
there are gneerally long lines so it will be hard to miss
there are always people around if you cant find the ticket office just ask someone and they will guide you

Answer: Because Cystic Fibrosis (often called 65 Roses by the young children who cannot pronounce it) is hereditary (you get it from your parents) there may be a chance that your children might receive cystic fibrosis from him. This is something that you will want to discuss in detail with a Pulmonologist and your OB doctor. It is a very difficult disease to live with. I am not sure if you are familiar with the site called helium. http://www.helium.com however, there is a woman on that site that writes about cystic fibrosis very well because she has cystic fibrosis.
