Ramadan: Is Iftar time and Magrib time the same?
I dont have an Iftar/seheri time table so I dont know what Tiem Iftar is every day I live in the USA
But I have a namaz time table So can I eat when its magrib time???????
Answer: Magrib means sunset. You eat your suhoor BEFORE sunrise. You do not eat from sunrise until sunset. Which means you break your fast when it's magrib time and pray to our creator Allah inshallah.
During your time fasting you know at the end of the day you will have something to eat. The whole purpose of Ramadan is to be thankful and keep the poor in our prayers

if not , is there a city nearby that has any mosques ? if yes ,then here's what you should do , get the time of azan al magrib prayer so you know when exactly to begin your iftar (that's when the azan starts you start eating) , and for your questions about saher time , there's no exact time for saher , you just eat before azan al fajir prayer , the closer you eat to the time of azan al fajir prayer the better ,once the azan of al fajir prayer is finished you stop eating and begin your fasting , I hope this helps , if you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask .

During Ramadan when it is time to break fast (iftar) what is the sky supposed to look like? ?
I live in the country in USA in the middle of nowehere and have no idea what the sky should look like at iftar. Please can anybody help me and no jokes or mean stuff please. I am really sad tonight because I am afraid I open fast too early or too late and I am the only muslim in my area so please answer kindly.
Answer: wallah i go thru the same thing about every day that i fast. if you go by any islamic calendar, even islamicfinder, it will give you a time for adthan which is 5 minutes before the actual prayer time for maghrib. so you can go by that, or you can wait the 5 minutes, but if you go outside and look at the sky it still doesnt seem correct. the QURAN says that we break our fast when we can no longer distinguish a white thread from a black one, so you would think that is like 30 minutes after the maghrib time that most sites will give you. its confusing, and you dont want to as you said break your fast before its time.. just ask Allah to help guide you and forgive you for following the wrong time if that is indeed the case. lol when it comes time to break fast I dont eat as much as I expect for some reason.
Answer: lol i find that every year. What i normally do is eat a small meal at iftar. After an hour or so am starving and stuff my face :D
Also before u eat dont drink too much it feels ur stomach up quickly ;)

Following food are my recommendation to be eaten in Sahoor and Iftar during Ramadhan and eating in daily eating all year around for good health:
Dates, figs, bananas are most nutritious fruits to eat with multi grain bread with cream chease, eggs, chicken meat and vegetables. All the above foods have lot of fiber. Drink plenty of water and never coke. All Fibers in above food hold lot of water in them to last all day and we do not feel so hungry. Fiber in foods also keep our antis-tines clean and free from buildup. Fiber works like brush removing fatty stuffs sitting in antis tines and keeps entire digestion system clean and healthy. Do not eat less in Sahoor thinking it a break fast only.
Prophet Mohammad SAW recommend that one should eat his full meal in the morning, eat less in lunch and lowest amount of food in super. He also said keep 1/3rd of stomach empty even when you eat full morning meal. Food can move around to be digested easily and one never gets fat with never filling himself to full.
Christian Patriarch of Egypt sent Prophet Mohammad a lady named Maria to serve Prophet. Maria was a widowed young woman who could not be married again according to the Coptic Christian Religion. So she was sent to Prophet SAW to serve him. Prophet married her and had a son (Ibrahim) from her. The child died after 18 months. Perhaps Allah did not want to leave any son of Prophet SAW alive after his death. May be because if he had a son, Muslims would have startedhereditaryy Kingdom right after Prophet died.
Patriarch also sent a Physician for staying with Prophet for ever to keep him healthy. Prophet said to the Physician, "you can go back because I shall never need you". That was a strange answer for Physician. He asked please tell me why you will never need service of a Physician. Prophet answered, we never fill our stomach and keep 1/3rd empty. So we can not get sick. Truly Prophet never got sick all his life except he had fever in last few days before he died. Physician said, if you leave 1/3rd of your stomach empty, certainly you can never get sick and went back to Egypt.
I hope my answer will benefit your health and you will be able to fast without out getting hungry all day.
May Allah guide us all on to the straight way of Islam that leads us to Allah and heaven in the hereafter.
