4. Civil War (North vs South over Souths right to secession)
5. Spanish American (against Spain for attacks on US in Cuba)

7. World War II (against Japan for Pearl Harbor bombing and then the against the Axis)
8. Korean War (against N. Korea for invading S. Korea)
9. Vietnam War (against N. Vietnamese to prevent communist take over)
10. Desert Storm (UN war against Iraq for invading Kuwait)
11. War on Terror (against Iraq, Afghanistan and Al-Qaeda for 9/11 and act of terrorism)
Just list the numbers you agree with and why.
Answer: 1-7 and 10 yes 8-9-11 Heck no the North south wars should have been left alone like our Civil war and let the players in there country's fight them out.and we did not Learn a thing From Vietnam/nor Russia Going into Afghanistan was the right thing to do but not with only 35,000 troops the first 8 years so we could hunt for WMD in Iraq GW should have payed Attention to his Daddy in Desert storm.Iraq was not about 9/11 that just gave Bush the Excuse he needed

*All figures rounded. This grisly inventory finds the total number of deaths in conflicts since 1950 numbering about 85,000,000. Of that sum, the deaths in the Arab-Israeli conflict since 1950 include 32,000 deaths due to Arab state attacks and 19,000 due to Palestinian attacks, or 51,000 in all. Arabs make up roughly 35,000 of these dead and Jewish Israelis make up 16,000.
These figures mean that deaths Arab-Israeli fighting since 1950 amount to just 0.06 percent of the total number of deaths in all conflicts in that period. More graphically, only 1 out of about 1,700 persons killed in conflicts since 1950 has died due to Arab-Israeli fighting.
(Adding the 11,000 killed in the Israeli war of independence, 1947-49, made up of 5,000 Arabs and 6,000 Israeli Jews, does not significantly alter these figures.)
In a different perspective, some 11,000,000 Muslims have been violently killed since
Answer: Chinese killed in civil war in the 20th century 100,000,000.
Looking at the negative only can be depressing. With the figures you have posted, the world is killing itself off?More people ALIVE than ever.
While there are more killings than ever, there have never been this many people. FEWER people have died in the 20th century as a percentage as opposed to overall numbers?
How many died violently in war in the 19th, 18th, or 17th century as a PERCENTAGE of the overall population? Before you can judge those of the 20th century fairly, you must make fair comparisons with ALL the other centuries.
Look at the War of the Roses (this long civil war in England decimated the population).
make fair statistical comparisons .........even the figures themselves are suspect and cannot be determined sometimes

Israel vs. Palestinians: A never ending conflict. Are we the terrorists?
I graduated with a political science major at University of California, Davis, and I have some conservative theories about the balance of power America wish to hold.
First off, Jewish and Christians hold the majority of Congress in US, not Muslims, which I believe is the primary reason Israel exists today.
But my theory led me to believe this is not the primary reason. United States wants to keep the balance of power throughout the world, which will benefits America in the very end.
Since the beginning of WWI to now, we have been intercepting and participating in wars in foreign territory that had nothing to do with us, the whole point is to ally ourselves with the weaker side to prolong the war against the stronger side.
In Europe:Allying with Brits and France against German in WWI, doing this again in WWII. Bombing and aiding factions in Yugoslavia.
In Asia: Giving military aid to Chinese socialists against Communists backed by Russia during the Chinese civil war. Aiding south Vietnam against North, aiding South Korea against North. Aiding China in the 60s-70s against Russia. Aiding the Philippines against China. Aiding India against Pakistan
In South America: Military occupation throughout South America, including: Brazil, Honduras, paraguay, nicaragua, costa rica, and el salvador, invasion of Grenada in Venezuela and Invasion of Panama against drug traffickers. Removing the Haitian president in Haiti in 1991.
In Middle East: Aiding pro-western Lebanon against Lebanon in the 60s. Decision to create Israel after WWII, therefore, creating a never ending conflict between Palestinians and the Jews. Invasion of Iraq because of the Iraqi-Kuwait conflict in the Persian gulf wars, invasion of Afghanistan to remove Osama Bin Ladin led Al-qaeda insurgents and the removal of Taliban government. Invasion of Iraq the second time to remove Saddam Hussein.
In Africa: Occupation of Somalia to protect humanitarian relief, and now US invasion in Libya against the Libyan government.
Balancing the power between Israel and Palestinians: Giving 100% support to Israelis to fight against Palestinians, but now that Osama Bin Ladin is dead (even though he is a jackass, he supports the injustices of Muslim nations), the balance of power in the middle east is weak in favor of Israelis, Obama wants to shrink Israel boarders back to the 1967 pre-war state, therefore, redistributing power in middle east?
I dont mind the ridicules, but I will say what I have to say: America is always supporting the weaker side during a conflict, invading a country that might or might not have direct relations with us, which only prolong the war and devastate the country even more. As a result of our invasions, civilians dies for unnecessary reasons, and that IMO makes us terrorists.
Answer: lol my history teacher is a political science major and he said the EXACT SAME THING
Everyone can believe what they want to believe but the sad truth is US politics is no dirtier than the politics of any other country in the world. Yes they are a superpower, with awesome citizens, but politically speaking that pretty much lets them do whatever they want

Do you think the the Iraq war is really all about oil?
If you are one of the people who constantly refer to the main cause or reason for our Iraq invasion, as well as other military ventures in the recent past as OIL - please answer:
Why didnt we just keep Kuwait after we drove the Iraqis out?
Why did we make the Arabs so filthy rich over the years by PAYING for their oil?
Why did we not invade them in 1974 when they almost crippled our economy with their oil embargo?
And, finally, how do you explain Viet Nam, Korea, El Salvadore, Samolia, etc..etc...
Theres no oil in those places, only repressed people.
Convince me that the United States intentions in all of these examples was anything but for humanitarian or defensive purposes - and, therefore, justifiable. Try and rely on facts and not bogus websites and op-blogs.
For anyone tempted to bash Bush or Kerry or Clinton or whomever -
This is not a Republican vs. Democrat question.
It is a bipartison question concerning United States foreign policies.
Answer: It is an absurd charge. As you said, we would have kept Kuwait. We would not be bothering to build a stable govt, we would just rule as an occupying force. We would have invaded Saudi Arabia instead of Iraq, they have a lot more oil. Once people make up their minds, there is no point in trying to refute them with facts.
