JFK Assassination set up by CIA?
If you had to write a persuasive speech on that topic in title.. which 3 mains points would you use to convince people that the CIA set up JFKs assassination. i personally think i would use E. Howard Hunts Bedside Confession, Gerald Fords documented confession to the changing of the Magic Bullet Theory evidence and Other fact based documents. The fact that Oswald was a lone shooter would be proven against and im curious what some other reasons people think the CIA did it are.
so what reasons would you use?
Answer: Sorry, can't help. There are too many things that point to Lyndon Johnson as the power behind the assasination, rather than the CIA, or the Cubans.

Whats a text that conflicts with Oliver Stones perspective on JFK assassination?
Im having trouble finding a text that has a solid perspective on the assassination of JFK. A lot of articles ive been finding are based on all the different theories. If anyone knows of any form of text that represents a perspective of the JFK assassination that differs to Oliver Stones film JFK- for example, the magic bullet theory, could you please tell me :) Thanks.
Answer: To specifically answer your question about Oliver Stone's JFK I went to http://www.jfk-online.com/jfk100bigjim.html which is a site dedicated to the subject matter. They pick Oliver Stone apart. Here's some text (newspaper quotes) that *factually* conflicts with the film:
"For those who have forgotten or are too young to remember," Dallas Morning News reporter Jon Margolis wrote in May 1991, "Garrison was the bizarre New Orleans district attorney who, in 1969, claimed that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was a conspiracy by some officials of the Central Intelligence Agency." "Garrison even managed to put one hapless fellow on trial for his role in this alleged conspiracy," Margolis continued. "Having no case, Garrison lost in court."(1)
Washington Post reporter George Lardner, Jr., who had covered Garrison's JFK probe in the late 1960s, received an early draft of the JFK screenplay and promptly weighed in with his opinion. ". . . Oliver Stone is chasing fiction," he wrote. "Garrison's investigation was a fraud."(2)

What are three reasons proving JFKs assassination was a conspiracy?
In a timed essay I have to give my opinion on whether or not it was a conspiracy or just one shooter, and a "magic" bullet.t Im having trouble picking good reasons why it was in fact a conspiracy, I have a few i just need more!
Answer: It's impossible to give any reason as why it would be a conspiracy as it was clearly demonstrated that it was not and that there was only one shooter. Do not forget that many people believe in conspiracy theories and that even by showing them scientific proofs, they will not believe it.
I suggest you use official data and recent scientific studies/reenactment about the case and demonstrate that there was indeed only one shooter who acted alone.

Do you believe the Warren Commission finding on the JFK assassination?
Do you believe the Warren Commission findings and explanation of the JFK assassination on 11/22/63? Do you believe in the "lone gunman" theory? the "magic bullet" theory? No US agency had any previous knowledge or took any part in the assassination? What do you think the true story is on the JFK assassination...Warren Commission report or other? Explain if you like.
Answer: I have read many books on the subject written by several authors, and after reading those books I am convinced that JFK's assasination was a conspiracy. The Warren Commissionsown words cement that fact with the "lone gunman' and the 'majic bullet' theory. Let's start with the one piece of proof that was not in the hands of the FBI or others in government, and that was the Zapruder film. If you pick that film a part, frame by frame, it is clear by the movements of JFK, that he was shot by two bullets, two gunman. One may have been in the Book Depository and the other over the fence at the grassy knoll at Dealy Plaza. Other photos had surfaced in the years that followed the assasination that show smoke billowing from behind the fence. The testimony of many eyewitnesses at Dealy Plaza coberrated that fact even though many people 'ran for cover' or 'hit the ground' they could hear the direction from where shots were being fired. Now nack to the Warren Report again. The way this report lays out the timeline from the time of the assasination to the time his body goes to Bethesda Naval Hospital we find more inconsistencies, especialy from what the doctors at the Dallas hospital noted about JFK's body to what was shown in autopsy photos from Bethesda. Entrance and exit wounds don't jibe between the two sets of doctors, what his skull looked like, and a whole host of other issues. Enough rambling.
The motivation that I like to go with was Vietnam. It was apparant thet JFK wanted to get out of the war at some point in his second term. You see, there was still a lot of paranoia in the country at that time, with the Cold War and the 'dominoe effect' of countries becoming communist, many thought it was a curtain call for the US of A. Johnson, the vice president, toerated JFK and hated RFK. So he was motivated as well. When Johnnson is sworn in as president, the United States' policy on Vietnam shifts dramatically and our involvement escalates. Militarily speaking, the war was not only good for the Pentagon, it was good for big business. The equpment being made from Lookheed, Gruman, and other big names who supply helicopters and other expensive war machinery were out to make money!!
Some perspective: For many things described above, inus the assasination, are things any different today in the Iraq War than when we were in Vietnam? The motivation is somehow still there. Hmm?

Can someone sum up what the Magic Bullet Theory is for the JFK Assassination?
Answer: The Magic Bullet Theory, aka Single Bullet Theory, states that a single bullet inflicted wounds on both JFK and Gov. John Connally. As unlikely as that might sound, it is accurate.
It is called "Magic Bullet" because those who don't understand what happened, or are conspiracy theorists, ridicule the theory by stating that a single bullet could not enter 2 men who are seating one in front of the other and enter both men at each of their right side of their body and exiting the left as they faced forward. Therefore the bullet must have magically properties in that the bullet hit JFK from behind over his right shoulder, exiting out his neck, stop in mid-air, change directions, goes over to a point behind Connally, stops and changes directions again so it enter his right shoulder and exited out his left wrist.
The truth is.....
.....the limo was using a "jump seat" which is not a normal car seat. This means that the 2 men were, in fact, not sitting one in front of the other. Instead Connally was sitting more inward than Kenendy and at a lower elevation than Kennedy.
.....Connally was not facing forward. Connally heard the missed shot (Shot #1) and turned his body so that his torso was facing the right allowing Connally to look behind him to see what he heard and where he heard it from.
Because of the true location of each man's seat and the fact that Connally was turned around in his car seat at the time of the impact of the bullet (see Zappy film), then yes they were wounded with the same bullet (Shot #2) and that the bullet had no magical properties.

kennedy assassination question...?
hi!
im doing an essay for my AP history class, and mine is JFK wasnt killed by a lone gunman (dont hate me). my essay is going to be six paragraphs (intro and thesis, intro of assassination, lone gunman theory, magic bullet theory, the other side and conclusion). is there any specific information i should put in any of the paragraphs that would help me get a good mark?
thanks!
Answer: About the only concrete evidence you'll find is the withholding of the Warren Commission documents and other secret reports, although any guesses on what they hold would definitely be arguing from absence. There are so many conflicting conspiracy theories - everything from the Soviets to little green men - that you will find it difficult to do the subject justice in only six paragraphs.
But don't worry. I don't hate you, I promise.

JFK Assassination: What was the Magic Bullet theory?
Can someone explain it in detail? I think its something about a stray bullet that came out of nowhere and hit a Sheriffs Deputy in the leg and was later found just laying there on a stretcher. Is this correct, and if so how is it explained?
Answer: The Single Bullet Theory (pejoratively referred to as the magic bullet theory by critics and conspiracy theorists) is thought to be an essential element of the Warren Commission theory that only one assassin was responsible for the assassination of United States President John F. Kennedy.
The theory, generally credited to Warren Commission staffer Arlen Specter (now a US Senator), posits that a single bullet, known as "Warren Commission Exhibit 399" (also known as "CE399"), caused all of the non-fatal wounds in both President John F. Kennedy and Governor John Connally. The fatal head wound to the President was caused by another bullet, from another area of Dealey Plaza, where Kennedy was assassinated.
According to the single bullet theory, a one-inch long, copper jacketed, lead core 6.5 millimeter rifle bullet fired from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository passed through President Kennedy’s neck, Governor Connally’s chest and wrist and embedded itself in the Governor’s thigh. In doing so, the bullet traversed 15 layers of clothing, 7 layers of skin, approximately 15 inches of tissue, struck a tie knot, removed 4 inches of rib and shattered a radius bone. The bullet that is supposed to have done all this damage was found on Governor Connally’s stretcher in the corridor at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas. It became a key Commission exhibit, identified as CE399. Its copper jacket was completely intact. The bullet’s nose appeared normal but the tail was compressed laterally on one side (see below: Theorized Path).

"The Magic Bullet is like the Immaculate Conception. You either believe it or you don't."
do you think my theory on the JFK Assassiantion is believeable?
You have got to be a dummy to believe the Magic Bullet Theory. And believe Lee Harvey Oswald fired 3 shots in 5 or 6 seconds. The scope on Oswalds rifle was messed up. The rifle was old. The bolt sticks. It takes over 2 seconds to just reload the damn thing.
I believe the Mafia killed President Kennedy. Three shooters were involved in the assassination. Two behind and one in front. Ive come to the conlclusion 5 shots were fired. President Kennedy was hit by three bullets. Governor Connally was hit by one. One bullet missed the limousine and hit a curb.
Ive been reading "Double Cross" by Chuck Giancana. And "The Kennedy Contract" by John H. Davis.
Ive read the entire Warren Report. The Grassy Knoll is not mentioned once in the hole report. And the witnesses who claimed to hear shots from the Knoll were not told to testify for the Warren Commison. And all the doctors who saw Kennedys body all say they saw the back of his head blown off. They cant all be wrong. Comments?
The Zapruder Film shows 5 reactions to gunfire. Many believe the first shot was fired atframe 160. I believe the first shot was fired much later.
Frame 189, shot 1: Hit Kennedy in the throat (Grassy Knoll)
Frame 228, shot 2: Hit Kennedy in the back (Dal-Tex building)
Frame 236, shot 3: Hit Governor Connally (Book Depository)
Frame 295, shot 4: missed the car and hit curb (Dal-Tex building)
Frame 313, shot 5: Hit Kenendy in the head (Grassy Knoll)
It was a classic military styled ambush. A triangular crossfire. Three sniper teams.
Team A: The Dal-Tex building (Second Floor)
Team B: The Texas School Book Depository (Sixth Floor) Oswald was not one of the shooters.
Team C: The Grassy Knoll (behind the wooden fence)
Answer: I have always believed something similar!! No way he did it alone, and why would Jack Ruby a known mobster kill him to silence him?

JFK assassination: more than one gunman or magic bullet theory? What do you think?
The question basically says it all. Im really interested in the JFK assassination and am curious to hear others opinions on what went down. Personally, I think the magic bullet theory is bull.
Answer: It is alleged that an italian carcano carbine was used. I remember when that info came out I went out with a cousin of mine who had one, and we tried to shoot it in the same length of time. It was impossible to get off three aimed shots and work the bolt, absolutely impossible. That particular weapon was also quite inaccurate, you would be lucky to hit the walls of a boxcar if you were locked inside. Lee Harvey Oswald had to be a dupe of the first order for somebody still unnamed.
