Am I gay.............?

I am a 21 year old boy from NY. I am 59", weigh 136-140lbs. I have many "features" or "stereotypes" that may seem gay. People have asked me if I was and i have always said no. These are some of the things about me: 1. My voice is naturally soft (high) 2. I like to dress nice (preppy and nice clothes) and I love to go shopping. 3. Sometimes my hands sway when I walk 4. I sometimes talk with my hands 5. I am very shy, yet creative and I like to draw, paint, make clay structures, etc. 6. I love to listen to music and my 80GB iPod. Some of my favorite singers: Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, etc. 7. I absolutely love to watch movies and I enjoy new ones as much as classic ones. I like all types of new movies (ie. Angelina Jolie, Jodie Foster, drama, comedy, action/adventure, thriller) and classic movies and actresses from this era that are my favorite in this order: Joan Crawford (1905-77), Marilyn Monroe (1926-62), Bette Davis (1908-89), Elizabeth Taylor (1932-). 8. I love to watch TV. My favorite show is probably Gossip Girl. I also like to watch Will and Grace, The Wanda Sykes Show, The New Adventures of Old Christine, the L word, House, CSI, Martha Stewart, The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price, etc. 9. I like to drink. I hate beer/whiskey, etc., but I LOVE red and white wine, champagne, cognac, vodka, gin, sherry, tequila, anisette and other liquors. 10. I love to dance 11. I dont really have any friends, but I get along well with my parents and 2 sisters. I live at home still. I do odd jobs casually like leaf raking, snow shoveling, planting flowers, helping my parents cook, bake, decorate, plan stuff, adventures, etc. I plan to go to college in late 2010 i want to major in Business-Design/or Creative Arts (NYU maybe) for like Interior Design. My IQ is 107. 12. I am a very clean boy. My room is very nice and expensive French design furniture, very nice room interior, designer clothes, I own 26 pairs of shoes (not inc. other footwear), 5 colognes, 12 belts, 37 ties, and a ton of sweaters, shirts (XS-S), pants (w28-30/L30. I have over 15 designer coats and a lot of other clothes. 13. I always look great in my appearance, and I look at least 5 or 6 years younger than 21. I use gel or mousse to keep my hair looking nice and have styled my hair (usu, the faux hawk style) my skin is white, my complection is clear and I always get at least 9 hours of sleep each night. 15. I have taken, been on, abused and addicted to sedatives like Ativan (Lorezepam) a powerful sedative -(benzodiazepine) 4.5 mg for 2 yrs. and alcohol and always enjoy the high effect on the drugs, and the escape and I always would escape the unpleasant thoughts I have about myself. I now am over the sedative addiction and drink less and now more in touch with reality, but still escape occassionally by different means. 14. is this person really my best friend?

is this a good idea for stage makeup?

i need to come up with a fantasy makeup design for my beginning drama class and i was wondering if this was a good idea... so a normal woman, very pretty with basic makeup on lipstick eyeshadow blush.. but the upper right side of her face has a picture frame around it and that part inside the picture frame is like a painting or drawing of that part of her face... or a very old lady with lots of wrinkles and the skin on the upper right part of her face is peeling away and inside is a younger version of herself..maybe a teenager or a 20 year-old... i just want your opinion! thanks!

What would be a better option? Mixing own primer or MAC Paint Pot close to skin color?

Urban Decay and Too Faced are not available in Malaysia, but I really need an eye primer to make my Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner and my eyeshadows to stay longer. By mixing equal parts of liquid foundation and body lotion/butter, I can get my own eye primer, but it is not as lasting as real primers, however, they are pricey, and shipping from the USA would cost more than the product itself. Another option would be a MAC Paint Pot, that costs as much as UDPP would in Malaysian Ringgit. What do you guys think?

What to do about ex-wife drama?

I am annoyed by my bfs ex wife. She called when I was in labor and said that she was rushing their daughter to the ER. His ex wife call his mother and talks about new relationships in her life like when she went to Boston to meet a man that she met on the internet and she called his mom right when she got back. I was thinking dont you have a friend or something to call. She tells his mom when she thinks my bf and I are having problems. When I do talk to her she talks about when she was married to my bf and how they went to the bars and about when she was pregnant. She even called his mom her mother-in-law and then said oops i am sorry i still think of her as my mother in law. I felt like she was trying to get under my skin. Most recently she decided she wanted to sit down and talk to my bf about concerns that she has about what is going on in our home. That is understandable because her daughter spends time there but neither her or my bf invited me to talk. We are getting married in October and I feel like I should be a part of conversations like this. I only knew about the "sit down talk" because his daughter said to me "We had a talk when you werent here." He wasnt even going to tell me. I called to tell her that I want to be included in future "sit down talks" and she yelled at me a hung up. I tell my bf that the stuff she does bothers me and that I want him to say something to her but he wont. He is too afraid to make her mad. I was really suprised when he didnt correct her for painting a bad picture of me to his mother and when she yelled and told me to shut the ****up . Am I being immature or should he get more of a back bone when it comes to his ex?? Oh and she sends their daughters dirty laundry from the whole week and he washes it and sends it back to her! Seriously.... his ex-wife doesnt even work she lives off of his child support and she cant make time to go do laundry

Answer: The shakespeare is a good choice, you could try Twelfth Night, Viola's "I left no ring with her, what means this lady" speech cant recall the act and scene unfortunately. Have you got the contemporary monologue from a monologue book? If so, try and read the play before you go to the audition, as the admissions people will most definitely ask you questions about the play. Try something a little more contrasting if you pick a shakespeare comedy. The swearing in the one you picked could seem a imposing or unnecessary. What about a speech from David Mamet's Oleanna? It might be a bit more suitable. Hope this helps!

This is TERRIBLE! Please help me?

This is the story. I fell in love with this boy. January of 09. This year, he finally noticed me. Im not popular, not at ALL. But I was pretty (im a model) Long blonde hair, green eyes, perfect skin, good height, thin. He asked me out March of 10. Obviously i was in SHOCK! I had a crush on him for over a year. And so we ended up going out. But then the drama started... Everyone was rude to me, talking behind my back. Jealous that things turned out for me... So when I had the chance, I broke up with him. JUST for my friends, JUST so the drama would end. We went out for 1 month. I loved him for over a year, we went out for a single month. I became really depressed, I just wanted to change. So I cut my hair, scene like. I dyed it dark brown. I have always worn eyeliner, but now I wear a LOT. I painted my nails black, my style changed... He said he still loves me. His friends tell me he LOVES me to death. I love him. TERRIBLY. But school ends this Friday. 5 more days left to see him. Then next year, we are going to different junior highs, for 8th grade. Then in highschool, we are going to the same school again. So we will only be separated for a year... But his friends are telling me, this is my chance. My only chance. If we went out again now, we could get past the drama and stay together for a LONG time. But...Is losing my friends better than losing him? Help me, I dont want to make a terrible decision. What is school like in your country?

Im just interested. Im from Australia. How many school days/weeks do you have each year? Do you wear uniforms? How big is your school? What year are you in? Is your school co-ed? Are many schools co-ed? Are there many people from other cultures there? Lots of sport teams? Which ones? How are your school years grouped? (Primary school etc.) What subjects do you do? What subjects can you do? When does your average school day start and end? Do you have lots of clubs and non-sport teams? Any other interesting info? In Australia, we have four 10 week terms each year so that adds up to 40 weeks or 200 days of school a year (obviously with weekends off) with probably about 1 public holiday every term. I think pretty much every school in my state, Victoria, wears uniforms. Im in year 9 at a girls school. Probably about 50% of secondary schools in Melbourne are co-ed, the rest being either girls schools or boys schools. There are about 700 people in the school all up, my year has about 140 people, but some of the older years have about 110. There are not a lot of multi-cultural people in my year, maybe 1 with Chinese parents, 1 German, about 4 people with dark skin, and no-one from the US or England. There are lots of sports teams. Athletics, swimming, diving, netball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, indoor cricket, outdoor cricket, afl, tennis, soccer, rugby, and so on... In Australia we have 3 year old kindergarten, and 4 year old kindergarten, then primary school, which is years prep, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, then secondary school (called college) which is years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Then most people got to uni.In year 9 we do the core subjects (maths, english, religion, science, australian history, geography, LOTE (language other than english), and 2 electives in the first half of the year and 2 new ones in the second. I just finished doing drama and fashion(textiles) and I am about to start visual communication and IT. I could have also chosen music, art, silk painting, foodtech. School starts at 8.40 and finishes at 3.15. We have an environment club, a debating team, public speaking team, about 15 different bands, refugee tutoring group, and thats about it for this year. Most people get a mobile phone for the start of year 7 so at the age 12. By year 9, most people at my school have iphones or smart phones. Answer: Hi! I'm from the US, in California :) Australia sounds interesting! I've always wanted to visit there! We go to school five days a week, weekends off. Hmm.. I'm not sure about the number of weeks, but about 36. We usually have at least one holiday every month (like one day off). The longest holidays are during winter break (two weeks) and spring break (one week). We do not wear uniforms. At our school we are free to express ourselves :) But of course there are dress codes, such as no hats, no bandanas, no gang affiliated clothing, ect. I am going to be a senior (year 12) in high school. There is elementary school (kindergarden thru grade 5), middle school (6 thru 8) and high school (9 thru 12). Our school has a population of about 3000. We are co-ed. In the area that I live in, it's mainly asian populated lol. So our school is dominated by asians. But there are a wide variety of other cultures - it's just that the majority are asian (I'd say about 50 or 60 percent). But there are African Americans, Spanish, white... anything you can think of. Sports teams include: basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, track, football, soccer, wrestling... And I think there's golf too LOL. Typical subjects are math, science, history, and english. Every year you HAVE to take an English class. As for the rest, people typically take a math class, maybe science and history... depends on what college you're aiming for and how your schedule goes. Oh, and you can take a sport. Other classes include art, photography, computers, or you can join yearbook or peercounseling. And the academic classes are usually either regular, honors, AP, or IB, depending which program/which class you want to take. School day starts at 7:50 AM and ends at 2:45 PM Yes we have quite a few clubs; most people join them because it looks good on your college application. The biggest club we have is Key Club (a community service club) Other info: We are a VERY academically centered school. We have a lot of people who take AP and IB classes; about 1500. And although we have a lot of people who focus on studies, there are a lot of people who also get bad grades, do drugs, don't focus on school work, ect... It's just that most parents don't realize it because we do it in secret. Well not me, I don't get into trouble... I'm a good student haha xD

Wow, I must have been really tired I barely ever sleep in no matter how hard I try. I looked around on the floor lay lonely canvas with paint smothered on them, like they were used then abandoned for good…Mom’s awake I assumed walking toward the sound of brushes being attacked by paint and thrashed onto the canvases. My mother sat thrashing paint on the canvas, colors all mixed together not chosen in any order or any specific color. Just chosen, no matter how it looked and the colors mixed together somehow made a beautiful imagine but the moral itself couldn’t be seen with the naked eye. “Good morning Adelynn.” My mother smiled. I smiled warmly. My mother looked like me but obviously my father and mother had both recessive traits because I look like no one in my family. I probably resemble some ancient relative. My mother wore her hair in a messy bun and her brown skin almost tan glowed in the sunlight as she smiled. “How are holding up?” she smiled worried for me. “Everything’s…Fine” I sat next to her placing my head on the counter. The kitchen sensed a similarity of the warm smell of coffee and heat from the sun took over making the air humid from the rain last night. “Well, I’m going to take a shower and head for work late tonight. Love you Bye” she kissed me on the forehead and packed up her paint stuff walking upstairs. I decided to go for a walk it’s summer anyways the air must be warm and the habitat all around you…wow, it’s just beautiful. How do you like it? Its a drama horror book about a girl discovering her horrid past and future and its about these monsters its just crazy. Do you like it? Be truthful. Its a novel i might start if anyone likes it
Answer: Your summary of the book at the end sounds interesting, but the excerpt you put up is a little...boring. You should have put up something that would be more entertaining than a normal morning.

Looking for Movie Buff for 90s drama comedy?

Ok this is a Drama Comedy very funny, there are 2 Women that dont like each other they get the chance to take a elixer for the fountain of youth or something in that manner. Finally they decide to do it and fight all the time one gets shot in the stomach and has a whole you can see through and i think the other gets hit witha shovel. They have to paint them selves everyday and glue there skin on. Please tell me the name so i can go find it would love to watch it again. This is an excerpt from a book im working on, from this passage, would you keep reading it?

Below is a book im working on. I would like opinions on the beginning I wrote so far. Criticism is welcome. CHAPTER 1 THE GIRL FROM NOWHERE As she exited the private jet onto the tarmac, Clara Dawson is blown gently by the cool Cleveland air. The clouds start to darken as if it’s going to rain. Her black boots matched her black painted fingernails and her black leather jacket and shorts with her purple T-shirt. Her pale white skin is shivering from the cold breeze. She is followed by a woman in everyday clothes, but this woman is Lola, Clara’s maid. “Wow I never would have thought that Cleveland is this cold!” Lola says with a surprised look. “Are you sure there is nowhere else you would like to start your new life?” Lola asks. Clara shakes her head no and continues toward the terminal. Although she isn’t gothic, she has a dark and lonely personality. She has no brothers or sisters, not even parents for that matter. Clara holds a deep secret with a dark past unlike any other seventeen year old girl. Here in Cleveland, she hopes to at least create a bright future for herself. Clara finds in the terminal awaiting her arrival a limo driver holding her name up on a large board. “My luggage is right there” Clara Says pointing at a lot of bags for just two people. Clara then gets in the limousine, followed by Lola. “So, what do you think of this place so far?” Lola asks Clara. “It’s just like I remember it….sort of” Clara says looking out of the tinted window. “You picked a good place in the area, and the most expensive” Lola says opening up a magazine. “Well don’t get too comfortable, you’re still my maid and you have to do everything I say” Clara says in a blank tone. “Even if you did save me from that fire” she adds. “Well now that you’re the only one left, at least it won’t be a lot of work on my part” Lola says with a grin. “You think that’s a good thing? That I’m the only one left?!” Clara explodes. “Of course I don’t, why would you think anything like that?” Lola asks. “Just don’t talk right now….” Clara says with a piercing look on her face. The limo driver gets in the driver’s seat from loading the trunk and drives off to Clara’s new home. The story is about a 17 year old girl (and her maid) who both survived a house fire that killed her parents and her brother. so she moves to a big city to start a new life. With the insurance and inheritance her parents left her, it should not be that hard. She starts a new school life at a local high school and makes new friends. While the book will switch between to her friends and their problems in every other chapter, the main protagonist is still Clara. As twist and turns arise, youll be shocked at the events that occur in this drama. So what do you like/dislike about it so far and what would you change about it? Thanks. SPOILER ALERT: the fire that kills her family is no coincidence.....
Answer: The are problems with your writing, in my opinion, this is, an opinion though and I may be wrong. One problem is that you are too blatant. Blatant, being too obvious, like you're trying to force the idea into our heads, some stories excel when they just casually mention something, but you just immediately describe characters. An example from your text; "Her black boots matched her black painted fingernails and her black leather jacket and shorts with her purple T-shirt. Her pale white skin is shivering from the cold breeze. She is followed by a woman in everyday clothes, but this woman is Lola, Clara’s maid. " Which, with a little bit of editing could become; "She shifted forward a little, drawing those jet black boots carefully along the concrete runway as she walked. Clara turned and raised a delicate hand to brush away her hair, though the weather danced with her hair, and it silently whipped at her face. "I didn't think Cleavland would be this cold!" She shivered, pale hands folding under her chest as she braced for the wind. "Are you sure you want to start your new life... here?" A familiar voice called from the private jet. And a casually dressed female peered past the airplane doors. Clara replied with a quick shake of her head and walked towards the airport entrance, it was about time to collect her luggage from the airport - which was more affordable than bringing it on board." In hindsight, it's a very difficult task to describe what you did via this method, but it's a lot easier to read. And in closing, blatantly saying "She is wearing red." is extremely boring, and especially with mysteries, you're going to want to be a little less obvious and a little more sly. NITPICKS; Exited > exits. Present tense. > Don't do this, it's bad. Learn scripting, your words seem fake, and I don't think I would believe anyone could talk like they do.

POLL: Who has it harder? Boys or Girls?

PLEASE take the time to read this! Personally, I think girls have it WAY harder. Heres why... 1. Periods. Thats a given. Boys, periods are worse then they sound. Yes, girls get moody. But theres absolutely nothing we can do about it! We get irresistible cravings, which mess up our diet. We have to deal with cramps. Sometimes, even Midol doesnt fix it, so we have to suck it up and smile. We have to constantly be worrying about leakage. I, for one, have extremely heavy periods and its a struggle to continue with my day, constantly having to worry about leakage. I have to go to the bathroom at least every hour. And at school, you have to be secretive about it. And Its hard to do sports and stuff when your on the rag. As a teenage girl, you have to always be aware that your period could come at any time, because its still irregular. 2. Giving birth. Another given. I dont need to go into full explanation. I think you know. Also, sex is painful for girls the first time. They cant really enjoy their first time like guys can. It hurts! 3. Looking good. Yes, you can say that it is an option for girls to wear makeup, spend money on expensive clothes, diet, shave, paint nails (even though thats kind fun), straighten/curl/stye hair, tan, keep flawless skin on your face, but if we didnt DO those those things, we get made fun of by guys! Boys dont like you when you dont work your butt off to look nice! Girls already know that guys dont go to the trouble to look nice (most of them), so we dont expect it. But girls are EXPECTED to be sexy and skinny! If a girl decided to show up to school/work in comfy clothes, no makeup, didnt do her hair, she would get insulted! 4. Sexual predators and what not. We have to worry about rape. And also, were just needed for sex by guys. We If a guy has sex with a lot of girls, hes a player, and is pretty much congratulated by his friends. Girls are considered a whore, slut, prostitute, you name it. 5. Dating. Yeah, guys have to do the asking out, but what I dont get is why its so hard! Girls have to wait around for who knows how long until a guy asks her out! If a guy wants a girlfriend, its way easier to find one. If a girl wants a boyfriend, too bad. She has to sit and be patient. 5.Teenage girls may seem nice, but wow. Underneath that mask, their nasty. Teenage girls are as mean as it gets. In middle school, I would come home crying day after day. They start drama for no apparent reason, they look down on each other, they make you feel bad about yourself, they purposley exclude you from things to feel better about themselves, their just plain right mean. I never was one of those girls, I was always the victim. I was always nice to everybody and I always tried to make people laugh, but thats what made me the victim. Nice girls are always the victim. Guys dont do any of that. They couldnt care less about drama! Their "bros". This is just some of the larger points to backup my opinion. Now I want to hear yours...
