How do I track USPS from Singapore?

I recently ordered an item from ebay. The seller is in Singapore and he provided me with an Ra number( Singapore tracking number) I was able to track the package while it was in Singapore and it said that it was dispatched to the U.S.The Singpost website said that tracking is available in Singapore only. I would assume that when the package got here to the U.S. it was assigned a USPS tracking number. Is there a way to track the package now that it should be in the U.S.?It has been about 10 days.
Answer: Never, ever assume anything when shipping to/from international locations if it is going standard (post office)-- not a company like FED-EX, UPS, DHL etc. From my understanding, and I have worked in shipping departments in the past, you cannot track the package as of now. Once they leave the country, they are...well gone. "out of sight out of mind" you might say. Even USPS global is not tracked outside the States. The package should arrive this week or the week after. Generally that type of transit is slow so be patient. PS (again from my past experience) USPS tracked packages have tracking labels generated from the USPS. They will not give international packages a special tracking id/label. That is not cost effective. .

I have bought something from ebay and has been paid.. The product will send to me via singpost.. then, I got the track number (code) to check in singpost website.. so will them send to my address or I pick up by my self? I confused here coz this is my first time to do such thing..
Answer: Don't worry, fella. If you buy something online, it will be delivered to your shipping/mailing address. There is the norm. The track number enables you to know the status of your item. But it will take a few days before you can track online at singpost website. This is because the item status will reflect in the singpost website when the item is handed over to singpost from airlines. PS: shop often online, and you will get used to it.

How long does it take a package to clear customs (Singapore to U.S.)?

I recently ordered something via PayPal from a vendor in Singapore. I have the tracking info and the package has been apparently sitting at J.F. Kennedy airport in New York City for 20 days. I live less than an hour from the city and this does not make sense to me. I know the package must clear customs. Unfortunately, I cant find any number for the this kind of thing to the airport and it would probably be a hassle. Also, the package was sent using SingPost. Who handles foreign mail, the USPS? Help!
Answer: Singpost should be alright. I think the delay might due to the postal price itself. Last month i just sent a package to Manhattan from Singapore via Singpost and it reach within 24 hours. But it's around US $45 for a package lesser than 100grams.

Singpost delievery to Philippines? Help.?

I bought something online and its being shipped already. There is a tracking number given, although I dont know what "tracking number" means. Im a kid. ^^ When I looked at the singpost site to track my order, the status is still the same. How will I know if my order is safe? How will I know if my order is already in the Philippines? How long will it take? It just says, "Tracking -Despatched to Overseas Postal Admin (From SG/ to PH/)" What kind of delivery service will my order be given to me here in the Philippines? FedEx? LBC? I dont know. Please help me. PS. Im worried because I ordered my items 2 months ago. And Im very happy now that theyve shipped them. But Im still worried since I havent received my items yet. Answer: Something is wrong somewhere as 2 months have passed since they were shipped. It should take less than 1 week to get it to you. Recheck the tracking # & ask customer service.

Can I track a Package from Singapore?

Ok, This is a first for me so forgive me if I sound like a dolt. Well I am waiting for a Package from Singapore and I was send a tracking number thats only good till it leaves Singapore. Now what Id like to know is that once its in the states, is it trackable at all? I know its going to be delivered USPS and I know it left Singapore and Its stop was at JFK in New York ( I live in Upstate NY ) and it was dispatched on the 22nd. Im wondering how long it will take to get here. Any help? Thanks. Is there any recourse, like if I have the Singpost tracking number, am I able to ask SingPost to give me the address of the sender. When the sender shipped the item, to me he did put down his address but I suspect that is a fake address. So will I be able to get help from SingPost or the police for this. Any advice, have something like this happen to anyone what did you do? well moobox that is not exactly answering my question, yes i did get cheated that is obvious from the question.
Answer: I think there is nothing much u can do about it. The Singpost number can only give you the last place the parcel is dropped. Contact the police but then again there isnt much they can do about it.

Answer: Was it sent by EMS? If so and you have the tracking number, you can track it using: http://www.speedpost.com.sg/ If it was sent by normal airmail, I don't think there is any way to track it.

I am recieving a package from signapore and I wanted to find out where it is I went on http://www.singpost.com and typed in the tracking number but it says 28 Jan 2008 ITEM RECEIVED AT POST OFFICE 29 Jan 2008 ITEM DESPATCHED TO OVERSEAS For local to overseas item, the status is available up to the point the mail leaves Singapore. You may wish to check with USPS at www.usps.com after the given time. So I went to USPS but they said There is no record of this item. Why Are You Receiving This Message? 1. Event information may not be available if your item was mailed recently. Please try again later. 2. The number was entered incorrectly. Be sure to enter all of the letters and numbers as they appear on your mailing label or receipt. I tried it so many times so I know its not being entered incorrectly!!! SO is there anyway of knowing where it is now?

Answer: When items are shipped overseas via airmail, they're often placed onto commercial aircraft as cargo for the journey. Since there are commercial airline flights between Singapore and LAX, it's probable that your package made it onto one of those flights. From there, it will need to clear US Customs -- after that, it will be given to the US Postal Service for delivery to you in Texas.
