Aside from prices yes in Mustafa much cheaper, but is the also manufacturing also different or all same? If same then why it is so cheap?
Answer: one thing i notice is that, some of the chocolates are actually produced in the uk (eg:cadbury) instead of malaysian-produced that are being sold in the other supermarkets here. and i dont know why, i prefer those made in the uk better. and they have more selections to choose from!

Where you can you service a BMW in Abu Dhabi or Mustafa?
As my car is now out of warranty and maintenace is there any other reputable place to take my car other than Abu Dhabi Motors to take a BMW to be maintained as Abu Dhabi Motors are VERY expensive and find everything wrong with car. The car has only done 45,000 and so far they have quoted new engine mounts, new washer pump, fan belt, thermostat, extension tank coolant.
Answer: Face the music, its a BMW, and since you are in the Middle East, parts have to be shipped in and that can get pricey. I am a bit surprised that engine mounts are needed at that mileage. Good luck, Deborah.

Mustafa Akyol: The Forgotten Liberalism Within Islam
Today, in most minds, the words "liberalism" and "Islam" can come together only to form an oxymoron. However, this was not the case a century ago.
What evidence is there against Mustafa Kemal forming the Turkish State?
I know all about what he did to form Turkey but Im sure that behind him there were plenty of other factors.
Maybe Nationalism, and other things.
So my final question is what factors other than Mustafa Kemal led to the creation of a Turkish state?
Answer: There's an old adage about leadership, "Find a crowd going somewhere and get in front of it." Certainly if it wasn't for Atatürk, modern Turkey as we know it would not exist. However the fact that his policies and ideas met with such support from his countrymen surely shows that Turkey was already "going somewhere", heading in the general direction of modernity and Westernization.
I'll just give you three examples:
- The Tanzimat, or Ottoman Reform, starting in 1839 was a long and radical process whereby the Ottoman Empire tried to ensure its own future by modernizing itself. A few examples: banknotes (1844), a parliament (1845), establishment of universities (1848), even a stock exchange (1866). They also attempted to fully integrate non-Muslims and non-Turks into a homogenous nation-state through civil, legal and executive reforms. This was quite something for a state which, for religious reasons, had previously divided their people into four religious groups with different rights and restrictions.
- Dolmabahçe Palace. In 1856 the sultan moved from Topkapı Palace, a quintessential Ottoman complex dating right to the conquest of Constantinople, to Dolmabahçe Palace, built in a hybrid Baroque, Roccoco, Neo-Classical style.
Imagine that a couple of centuries from now China is the world superpower. If the kings of England moved from Buckingham Palace to a pagoda, you would surely conclude that Britain had begun modelling itself after the the Far East. In the same way, the move from Topkapı to Dolmabahçe can only be explained as the beginnings of Turkish westernization.
- The Young Turk revolution of 1908 represented a vast movement from within Ottoman society that wanted to reform the state still further. To quote from Wikipedia:
"The Young Turk movement built a rich tradition of dissent that shaped the intellectual and political life of the late Ottoman period and laid the foundation for Atatürk's revolution."
So yes, Mustafa Kemal deserves much credit for his skill in shaping the modern Turkish Republic. But he did not spin something out of thin air. He simply helped the crowd get to where they were going.
