paying for college that taught me nothing?
* Please only serious answers from people with creditable facts.
O.k, so I went to a college, ITT Tech, and got the multimedia degree(Website, TV commercial and animation). Since I have graduated, I have had ZERO(0) jobs respond to my resumes, putting aside all the job "Woes," and "poor me" stuff, I know have $40,000 in student loans and so far not even wal-mart will hire me, I have been unemployed for a little over a year and in that time not a single job offer or call back or anything. So I have been paying my student loans up until this point, but now my unemployment has run out and I am still without a job and searching even harder than before. I have already had a couple of deferments on a couple of my loans(yes a couple, 3 through Sallie Mae/Dep of ED and Wells Fargo), now I have no money for rent, electricity not to mention my student loans. Overall this is a crummy situation, My first question is: what can I do about all of this debt for the student loans.
1.A couple of facts for the question: It has been more than 6 months for grace period since I graduated.
2.I am married with children.
3.used up unemployment and emergency unemployment.(original unemployment and the little extra)
4.Have no job, no response to resumes, no call backs.
5. Have applied for everything from what my degree is in to fast food jobs.
6. have no proof of unemployment to send loan offices, before I sent my unemployment papers to prove I was unemployed.
So, What should I do in this situation, and please no answers like "McDonalds" or "Burger King", sadly I have already applied there.
My next question is this, When I was going to college I learned almost nothing. My wife said she heard somewhere that you can file a claim that will help with the student loans if I can prove I learned nothing at college. Well, I would think I learned nothing seeing how half of my teachers there where fired because they received horrible reviews and the other half did as little as possible so that we could all pass. If you dont believe me I could go on and on about how one teacher kept showing us movies like Kung Fu Panda because it was for studying the animation(that was the whole class one day) and another teacher was literally not understandable, He was from Nigeria, but because he had even a little experience in a animation program, and no one else wanted to teach the program, he remained the teacher of the class after multiple students complained about him. I can go on and on about how bad this school is, but I will simply say, the school was a scam and I paid $40,000 for classes that I ended up teaching myself after I graduated. I can honestly say now that I deserve my degree in MultiMedia, but not because of the college I went to but because of the extensive research and self teaching I put myself through. I feel justified in saying I was ripped of by ITT Tech, is there any way to claim I did not receive a proper education and get some sort of compensation or refund???

Answer: Uhm... ITT Tech is not a reputable school at all. You should have done more research. When employers see ITT Tech more than likely they'll throw it away unless they are desperate. It is considered a fake school.
It's just like University of Phoenix. It's a profit school.
You should have went to a state college/university (community college would have even been better) and would have gotten more of a chance to get a job.
You also can't get a refund, there is no such thing. It's sad schools like ITT tech are out there but it gets people in debt and brings money to them...
You chose to go there and stuck it out for the time that you did, you are responsible for that, I don't see you getting a refund.
You should have asked Yahoo! community about going to ITT tech, we would have said no!!!!
Also the girl is right about schools who advertise on TV. When was the last time you saw a state college advertising to go to their school? Unless it's a private school that wants more money or a fake school, they wouldn't be on TV.

today i went on ign.com to see the review of Quantum of Solace Wii and Spider-man Web of Shadows and both of them got bad reviews while the 360 and PS3 versions got great reviews. Multiplatform games have never succeed on the Wii because those developers always spend a lot of time to those versions great while they dont try to make the Wii version a good like the 360 and PS3 version. Multiplatform developers always spend a lot of time and effort to make the 360 and PS3 versions good while the Wii is bad. No one knows if the Wii version COD 5,Ghostbusters and Tomb Raider Underworld are going to great games because Developers always spend more time on the 360 and PS3 version and they dont try to spend the same amount of time on the Wii version. Those type of games are supposed to give hardcore Wii owners something great to play this holiday season. World of Goo, Madagascar 2, Kung Fu panda and Animal Crossing are kid games.I wish every developer spend more time on their games like High Voltage Studios and the developers that created No more Heroes because they are the only developers that cares about the Hardcore gamers. Every Day I watched X-play and all they do is talk about games for the PC, PS3 and 360 and as a Wii owner I feel that X-play doesnt respect Nintendo or The Wii console. My Wii have been collecting dust for months. The games i have are Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Metroid Prime 3, RE4, Resident Evil The umbrella chronicles, Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and those games were worth $50. I wish Nintendo would making casual games and family games and make more Hardcore games

and Nintendo still is making "hardcore" games. Do you honestly think they can make games as good as Zelda and Metroid every year?
Those type of games takes several years to make.
oh, and games like The Conduit and Sonic and The Black Knight will be Wii exclusive.

Kung Fu Panda vs Wall-E which movie do you think will win for Best Animated Feature Film and why?
So far I have only seen one of these 2 animated movies, and both have scored really great reviews from the movie critics, or most of them. And I am thinking that there is going to be no way, when the Oscars nominees are announced early in 2009, that there will be no way that Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E will not get a nomination for Best Animated Feature Film. And I dont think that Wall-E is the best animated movie that Disney-PIXAR has ever done, and they pretty much almost have a movie nominated for this award ever year, whether or no they deserve the win. But which of these 2 animated movies do you think will win for Best Animated Feature Film, Kung Fu Panda or Wall-E? And why do you think one of these 2 animated movies will win over the other. And if you check out http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/wall_e/ , it got even better reviews scoring 96% fresh, with 207 fresh reviews and only 8 rotten. So now, which of these 2 movies do you think will win for Best Animated Feature Film and why do you think that movie will win for Best Animated Feature Film for 2008?
Answer: I would definitely choose Wall-E.
Kung Fu Panda was okay, but for me, it was like almost every typical children's movie about 'never giving up' and blah and blah blah. A little bland with a small touch of humour.
Wall-E, on the other hand, does have these themes, but it has some sort of magical ethereal element to it, like when he spots the plant for the first time or when you see the desecrated Earth or even when he blasts off in space with Eve.. with what was it? A fire extinguisher? I forgot!
The animation was simply astounding as well as the fact that it did not have as much dialogue and yet you understood the little robot's confusion.. or love for another robot. (:
And also the fact that it was INCREDIBLY adorable!
