Hows this for a story idea?
It is about a thousand years into the future and society has fallen to pieces. The climate has changed to become much warmer, creating a rainforest-like environment. Many of the hardier creatures have mutated to become the top predators: roaches have become large, mantis-like creatures and rats have becme large, ferocious hunters. Other creatures include mice, which have only become larger. Cats have become longer, more streamlined, and much more agile. Dogs just much biggr. Birds either revert back to raptor-like reptiles or took to the skies as huge birds of prey. Humans remain the same, but the few scattered gangs have become ruthless, sociopathic warmongering people and are constantly fighting among other gangs, or one-another. There remain several futuristic societies in large pyramid-like structures, very scattered. few people live outside the cruel gangs, and those have tendencies towards a more humanlike emotions. The protagonist is one of them. He is about 15. When he was 8, a gang discovered his parents and older sister, and his parents were slaughtered before his eyes. His father had put up a fight though, and injured one of them. His sister had been taken away, and he knew little of what happened to her. He had been living alone in the ruins of a highrise, in the middle of an overgrown, enormous metropolis. using his wits, and the skills he learned from his parents to keep surviving. One day, he comes back to his camp after hunting, and finds a girl about his age taking his supplies. At first they are hostile towards each other, but when the protagonist realizes how feeble and injured she is, he stops.Having never talked to anyone else in many years, he does not know much how to talk to anyone. For a day they dont exchange a word, until finally she tells of how she was kidnaped by one of the gangs, but escaped. When they track her to his building they are both captured and forced to escape all over again, but out in the wild where not only are they being hunted by the gangs, but animals as well. I will introduce two more protagonists, and three main antagonists.
Yeah, about the evolution thing, it took me a while to decide on that, i was worried that it would cause me to scrap the idea, so I just made it science-fictional. The trouble was That if I had put the correct time for evolution than the whole building thing wouldnt have worked.
Oh yeah: The evolution thing
Rats and roaches: the hardiest of species, they evolved to become some of the top predators around because after the whole cataclysmic event thing, theyre species had an edge on numbers because of how little they were affected, they took advantage and became major predators. Partly because most of their predators were killed
Cats and dogs: Because of the sheer numbers of them, some had to live. cats lost the opertunity to seriously evolve with the rats at the top.
Birds: Like roaches/rats.
Humans: the humans were forced to get much bulkier, and during a small period of time, the solitude caused them to lose much of their empathy and kindness. very few original humans: who managed to say in groups, lived. Eventually as the population rose again, the brutal ones banded in groups, and tore apart the normal ones groups.
Answer: I like the idea concept but you have to more accurately explain why all of these creatures would evolve. Changes in climate wouldn't cause rats to grow large..especially when other predators like snakes, who mostly thrive in this environment, would feed on them as their species evolved. And also, it's not a good idea to have all creatures evolve but not the humans. There needs to be more to this. So think of something in addition to the climate change that caused this. Even if it turns into a fantasy rather than a science fiction type novel, retool the evolution of these creatures and you'll have yourself a nice overall concept.
Good luck with it and its good to see creativity :)

OMG. rOxOr you guide sucks, im exiting now.
WAAAIIIT! Hear me out!
You need a strengh of 8 to weild the Anti- Materila Rifle, and this can be achived with the weapon handling perk (+2 to strengh) and a strengh implant
You dont need any perception at all for a sniper. None at all. You just need ede. The reason I have it 5 is because WITH THE IMPLANT, you can get a perception of 6. This means you can still have the brilliant perks such as sniper and better criticals(?)
Endurance is a "drainer" skill. There is 2 "Drainer" skills. but give this as many remaining points as you want. I gave it 5. (ps. Endurance is HEALTH HEALTH HEALTH and nothing much ealse, so how much health u want? NONE, coz ur sniping. Endurance also affects the amount of implants you get. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE HEALTH REGEN, AND THE OTHER NON SPECIAL ONE! Then put the others 3 implants luck, perception and strengh
Charisma- No, this is not a drainer perk. This is a "put it as low as you can and an implant and forget about it". It affects batering, speech and if it is on ten (who puts....??) you companions deal a lousy 50% more damage. Its not as good as it seems. Anyways if you dont put it on ten they deal only like 10% more at 8 CHA, and its not worth it. Dont implant it.
Intellegence. I gave it a 6. You only need to boost some skills to 90+ and bang a few on medicene (sooo need medipacs) but intellegence is not a force to be rekoned with.
Fun fact- A guns skill on 100 means x2 the damage!
Agilty- Omg. Yes. Agilty affects how much vats you can have (how many shots u fire before it is used up) for cheeky little no scopes or paniky panik pants. It also increases ya guns and sneak= vital.
Put an implant if you have 6 endurance or higher, not 5.
Luck-
Forget about Money. If You have high luck. With luck on 9 or ten, you can win 10,000 bottle caps in less than 10 mins. It also affects you critical hits wich is VITAL. And plus, it adds a lot onto every skill ya have. Best speical in the game.
Skills-
Guns- Yes, 100%, twice the damage, twice the fun. And is vital.
Lockpick- No, dont touch It. I will explain in a moment.
Enegy weapons- Not as vital as guns but heck yes.
Sneak- Sniping is all about sneaking and sneak criticals, V I T A L
Repair- Yes, Custom ammo and repairing guns is not a hastle anymore.
Medicine- put ya leftovers in here. And buy tons of stim packs. This is good since you get more health back. Need it anyways but near vital for high endurance peeps.
Ok, so why did I say dont put lockpick in? I know you guys want the gobi, but after the nerf it is pretty much the same powerfullness as the sniper rifle, but it CANT be silenced. And with the wild watsteland perk you get a kick ass sniper called the YCS/186 wich is better than the AMR.
So basically its 1 sniper rifle vs every enrgy weapon in the game regardless of if there a sniper at all! Gee, thats a tough one.
Perks- I seriously cannot be bothered typing these up. Only waste ya special enchancing +1 perks if you really
(1) Traits: I always get BUILT TO DESTROY and GOOD NATURED. Here is why: Built to destroy makes weapons decay faster but not by much, and the +3% crits really is good, especially when it is added on top of other crit perks. Good natured, while it lowers all weapon skills by 5, usually youll be focusing only on 1-2 weapon skills in the game (so youll effectively be getting 5 pts in 5 stats and losing 5 pts in 1-2 stats).
Ok, I can be bothered typing up the bloody perks coz this is THE BEST GUIDE IN THE WORLD?
Here ya go-
3) Perks: Absolute Musts would be educated, commando (L8 available), Sniper (L12 avail.), Better Crits (L16?), Laser Commander (L22) if you are doing energy weps. If you get your survival skill up, then get entomologist and hunter. Also, I would suggest getting rapid reload, grim reaper spirit, finesse, jury rig, and (if you plan on starting with 5-6 str, get weapon handling later on so you can effectively equip the best sniper weapons).
No that was not copy paste! Ok it was, but from another post wich I typed up.
Anyways comment rate, subscribe and I will give you best answer.

If you were stranded on a desert island with a group of people, what would be your role?
Do you think you would be the leader, making decisions?
What would you offer to the group?
What practical skills would you be able to offer to the group?
Would you be a despairing wreck or would you offer hope to the group and lift their spirits?
Would you be a hunter or a cook?
For me, I do not think I would be the leader. I would offer hope and remain optimistic. Practically, I am very good at fishing and know how to cook wild meat and kill rabbits. I am also good at building so would be able to help build huts. I think I would be centrally involved in getting off the island as I am good at solving problems logically and would keep coming up with plans and ideas.
What would be your role?
Answer: i would definatly be the leader!!!
i know how to order ppl around and am fair and just lol
no, but if i wasnt a leader i would probably be a builder, ima perfectionist! lol
and if not, i could be the allaround whore
lmao

Grade my essay on the Neolithic Revolution?
Im going to be a sophomore in high school. This is for AP World History. Is this essay passable?
Question: Why was the Neolithic Revolution important for the creation of civilization?
The Neolithic Revolutions Lasting Impact
The Neolithic Revolution was a crucial starting point for civilizations mainly because it was the period in which agriculture was discovered, successfully practiced, and acknowledged by many other societies as it spread to other regions of the world from its starting point in the fertile Middle East. Although it is referred to as a “revolution,” the progression from mobile hunting and gathering groups to more complex, stationary farming societies took thousands of years before finally becoming an essential base for many large societies. Farming led to important means that might now serve as fundamentals, or at least elements, of our very definition of civilization today, such as the construction of houses. These advancements caused further achievements, and this continues in order to fortify future civilizations and create great cultures that are moulded by unique economics, politics, and religions. Thus, the gradual development, but lasting impact of agriculture during the Neolithic Revolution could be thought, figuratively, as “one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”
Rather than having to depend on hunting animals and foraging in the wild, both of which would result in an uncertain amount of food, it was more practical for humans at the time to have farmed, as the harvest would not only have been more accessible because it stay put, but the outcome far more predictable as well. Although, naturally, roaming hunters and gatherers were unwilling to switch to the unfamiliar practice of farming at first, we can see that the results were well worth it and very favorable, more so than the results of hunting and gathering. Most societies were able to meet and exceed the demand for food from the produce they received by farming. This success, in turn, allowed for settlements in, likely fertile, areas to form, and the growth of a smaller group of people into a much larger, functional community. Because farming peoples tended to stay in one area for great lengths of time (unless they used the technique of slash and burn or other ones that required moving), permanent shelters were built and even animals like cows and sheep soon became domesticated. These helped give people security and variety in food (meat) and clothing (like wool). It was also helpful that they did not have to search for wild game but were able to raise these animals themselves in the comfort of their society. These all worked toward providing sustenance for the community of people. As more societies adopted farming over hunting or foraging, this pattern usually repeated, and the aftermath was a growing number of budding communities that may later expand into one of more structure and organization, such as a village.
Admittedly, agricultural endeavors did require grueling labor in order to reap the most reward, but food shortages were not quite a problem as it once had been. This allowed people in these types of settlements to focus on developing other useful skills such as basket-weaving and pottery-making for crop storage, or particularly metalworking and toolmaking, all of which were great contributions to the evolution of agriculture. As these skills were refined, those who obtained those desired skills could opt for specialized jobs, such as being an artisan or toolmaker, which were important for greater ease in farming by means of using a better tool to till the soil more efficiently. Greater interest in sciences also occurred. This displays a part of the economic diversity as a chain result of agriculture. Significant differences in wealth and power (ie. the control of land) would also eventually take place due to whether or not some were more profitable than others, if it had not made an impact on several of these societies already.
The rapid increase in population was indisputable, and the stable agricultural setting was gaining widespread popularity. Regardless of the traveling nomads who stubbornly persisted to live their own lifestyles, what were once small, tight-knit clusters of less than one hundred individuals had expanded into well-organized, thriving communities that had the potential to evolve into villages and possibly even cities. The nomads served a vital role in allowing these communities to interact and trade with one another through them, and even without, growing societies often learned how to work with one another. For instance, irrigation, a process for watering crops, sometimes needed the cooperation of several villages to help with its regulation and maintenance. These kinds of exposure brought different peoples together, allowing for the exchange and blending of cultures, practical techniques, values and ideals, and more. Over the course of thousands of year
Answer: It is a very solid A, maybe an A+. Your analysis and writing skills are extraordinary for a student at your level. This essay would bring at least an A- to a first year student at most universities. If you continue to perform at this level, you should apply to Ivy League schools and their equivalent.
(I realize that the end of your essay was cut off due to space limitations.)
