Why would god reward ignorance? think you know evolution? (round 2)?
2nd time im asking this due to the dismal failure of responses i had received from christians.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution
some basic facts i hope that you know
1. a species doesnt suddenly leap from cat to dinosaur, what you believe is a form of evolution is actually something only found in fables ie. religious texts.
2. evolutionists is an incorrect term, darwinists is a term used wrongly, i suggest you wiki both.
3. Darwin isnt the monster who was sleeping with the devil in homosexual intimicies since day one. he was originally a supporter of intelligent design and a creationist who believed in the literal bible and on his quest to prove intelligent design, he came upon the theory of evolution through natural selection, his student guy, wallace is forgotten, but he too came up with the idea, just goes to show, you cant stop science nor rational thought.
4. Evolution does not explain abiogenesis, just as the theory of gravity doesnt explain the origins of gravity. evolution merely describes how so many species came to be on earth.
5. A theory doesnt make it any less worthy. in scientific talk, a theory is worth more then fact, it is used to EXPLAIN facts. it isnt some random rambling and the fact that the theory of evolution still stands is testament to this. it survived through the large spike in knowledge of fossils, it survived the large spike in knowledge of genetics.. a theory can be challenged when new evidence or knowledge contradicts it. this is not the case, just today it is some random rantings of AIG or some other group.
6. Intelligent design is not a substitute of Evolution nor should it ever be considered to be in its current form.
it involves NO scientific method.
it involves NO peer reviewed scientifically published artical.
it relies on a handful of people with deeper motives and namely 1. count it, 1 simulation from Behe as proof.
it also is based off the argument from ignorance which is a logical fallacy. so the notion of even teaching it in schools as science is to stunt human IQ.
7. why would god reward ignorance?

Additional Details
RE: Jeanmarie
what if that same environment was replicated in nature purely by chance, enzymes naturally form proteins by random chance, you should know this.
furthermore, there have been experiments where E Coli was "forced" to catalyze citrate over a 20 year long experiment, this trait is not found in wild E. Coli and has come from random mutation at roughly generation 20 000. what you stated WASNT intelligent design, it was merely an experiment showing enzymes form proteins just as burning O2 forms CO2, claiming that we put the ingredients there doesnt mean that an intelligent designer was needed.
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/abioprob…
this goes through the mathematics of purely random formation of proteins. namely lipids which are the membrane forming proteins in organisms.

Yes, this is a challenge. bring it on, i will reply (through additional details) to all answers that are worth replying. hopefully posting this 6 hours earlier gets a better bunch of christians.
Greg, a theory is used to explain evidence, evidence namely being results from experiments. this evidence can somewhat be loosely regarded as fact. a theory explains why such results come about.
perhaps i am trolling, even so, why would god reward ignorance? scientific method is the best thing humans have devised to cut through ignorance and, quite frankly, stupid. it is consistant, peer reviewed and based on empirical evidence.
my question boiled down is why would god reward ignorance? some people firmly believe that faith is all that is needed but why reward ignorance? its number 7. a repeat of the main question. i thought it was clear enough, but apparently it wasnt. i understand some christians reject notions of evolution or things like "humans arent awesome and special" "our solar system is one of billions of trillions of others." why would god reward such ignorance under the notion of faith?. seems somewhat belittling to encourage humans to not grow or expand knowledge.
RE: Hayley
you are exactly the kind of person i am directing my question at, everything you spoke of was arrogance in ignorance.
i respond to this message hoping that the next person isnt as stupid or thoughtless. read what i wrote, evolution has nothing to do with the big bang theory, nor abiogenesis (beginning of life). it is merely a theory describing how all species have come about. i wrote how darwin wasnt the ONLY one with the idea, if he rejects it after saying it... too bad, it is a theory and it requires facts and evidence NOT opinion to knock it down.
the big bang was defined by physics albeit physics different to the physics we see today.
there is a greater purpose then to be a zombie for a chance to live with a most likely non existent creator
a theory has been proven, by facts and evidence at the time. its like germ theory and theory of gravity. the way to make a theory an opinion is with contradicting evidence
i dont even think poes law works with you.
RE: sanallsave
pfft, so much for free will
your god purposely created 5/6 of earths population to burn in hell for all eternity?
//The reason one person believes and another person does not is that one person has been adopted by God and the other has not.//
you are delusional. is that good enough for you? is the thought that god willingly chooses and shows prejudice when condemning billions if not trillions in the long run to eternal suffering? good bye.
Answer: This sounds just like a question that a 16-year-old-atheist-troll would put together. Mostly it's just a lot of pointless blather that has nothing to do with anything. Can you distill your speech down to a simple question? Or are you just trying to get people stirred up?
FWIW, there's nothing in the Bible about creationism, intelligent design, evolution, or monkeys going to college. Unless you're a troll seeing monkeys behind every burning bush!

"Dave LaBuda": when I first began to read your response, I thought you had just copied an article from some magazine/on-line source/from whereever.
But upon completetion, I reviewed your questions and answers, and see where I had mis-perceived.
Meditative thought - genuine questioning of why were here/who and what we are, etc. - is an attribute I highly value.
Many thanks for your exposition: have made you a contact, if thats alright?
Answer: Discussing aliens makes me feel slightly like a hyprocite, in that, although there is no evidence to support it, I believe aliens are out there somewhere in a very far corner of the universe - even though I'm totally unable to put the same faith in a higher power: God. That said, I reject those that claim they were abducted by aliens, as well as UFO sightings. I believe that we're the only complex civilization which exists within a massive radius of space, otherwise we would have picked up signals from the numerous projects that deal with such things.
So, because of that, I view the Roswell incident as a hoax and I think that humans are more than capable of pulling such a thing off.
What's my opinion on Hawking's warning? I think it's valid. Can you imagine what we would do years from now if our resources dried up and we suddenly came upon a planet that could ensure our survival - especially if the lifeforms on it were less complex than we were? We'd strip it of everything, of course, in order to survive. When it comes down to it, it's all about survival of the fittest, and if we're not the fittest in the universe then.... Well, I believe we'd be in trouble.
It's strange that you should bring this up because just a few days ago I watched a pretty entertaining tv show on the subject. I don't know if you know of Penn and Teller? They have a series in which they try to debunk things that they see as BS, hence the name of the series: Penn and Teller: Bullsh*t! Please don't let the bad language discourage you, it's actually very well-made and enjoyable. It's available online anyway, if you wish to see it.
I sign off now with the hope that I don't seem like too much of a whackjob.
Oh, and I believe Hawking also likes Brahms and Mahler. Now Brahms I can agree on, but the others, I'm afraid not...

Theologians, apologists & other pseudo-intellectuals? Did you know its Charles Darwins 200th B-day today?
On this momentous occasion I invite you to reflect on the impact that Darwinian theory has had and will have on your beliefs.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Dar...
I would also like to very briefly acknowledge the profound contribution that the work of this great man has made to science, not only as a discipline, but also as a part of the great endeavor of rational humans to understand the true nature of the world. This is in spite of those who in the name of false intellect, false reason, false prophets, false perception, false worship, false virtue, false piety, do all they can to either condone or advocate mystery, deception and ignorance.
In spite of an atmosphere of religious suffocation that has worked to deprive humanity of its breath of truth and clarity throughout all of history, the instrumental role that Darwin has played in clearing the intellectual air is one that will be looked upon in many decades to come as the turning point from which humanity finally released itself from the religious shackles of intellectual incarceration.
Of course, the intellectual climate of the 19th century was still polluted with religious dogma, which would still suffocate Darwin himself. He was not perfect. Far from it. But his theory of natural selection is the metaphorical giant ancestor, the shoulders of which our current and future sciences stand upon.
But this is merely the surface layer of the intellectual strata. Beneath this is a bedrock of new and progressive academic discourse ready to rise and breakthrough to the surface. Christians ought to understand that the sign of a genuinely profound theory is what it gives rise to, and if you thought that zoology, ecology, genetics and molecular biology to name just a few, owes its unification and grounding to Darwinian theory, then you underestimate the role of this most profound discovery. Perhaps Darwin himself couldnt not even have anticipated that his theory of natural selection would play such an essential role. Perhaps you ought to familiarize yourself with the humanities and social sciences, which perhaps have not yet been weened off of the bottle of religious piety which had declared itself legal guardian ever since humanity was able to scare itself sh!tless by the idea of finitude and at the same time gave itself hope by coming up with some fantastically relieving and prosaic notion that anything was possible (a statement that cannot be disproved!)
Take psychology, a discipline that straddles the fuzzy boundary between the humanities and the life/earth sciences. If indeed you are interested in what motivates humans to believe what they do and act in particular ways, then you will have at least asked yourself the question of "Why we are good"? I do not mean "good" in the sense that we are pious but "good" in the sense that we are moral. There is good in all of us, as most will proclaim, but where does this good come from?
You see many so called thinkers, and pseudo-intellectuals are envious of the power of human rationality such that they feel Evolutionary theory is worthy of being assimilated into their theology, in spite of the fact that they hold their great bronze aged anthology, which contains the book of "Genesis", as gospel.
Perhaps within their psychology and with the inspiration from a distant fading memory of their rationalist fan-boy St. Thomas Aquinas, they reluctantly demonstrated that they had no hesitation to arm their God with this mighty Darwinian pen from which God apparently expressed his creativity and co-writes with them, their life story.
But in spite of what they presume, most academics and intellectuals are not so pious as to demand any "apologies" for making such a bold move. We all know that it takes tremendous courage to do so, and we wish you all the best for the next challenge that remains. It is a challenge that Nietzsche referred to as the "final cruelty" (something to do with climbing ladders??!)
In the mean time a new generation of psychologists, philosophers and public thinkers, will do our dirty work and study your motives and whilst the rest will guide humanity through the doors of your deepest fears, the doors which were unlocked by our birthday boy two centuries ago!
In god they trust, yet in Evolution we Know!
Happy Birthday Charles!!!
Answer: Unrelated but perhaps more worthy of note to psuedos such as yourself: It's also the anniversary of the firebombing of Dresden. Read about it and weep. For us and for the whole western world.

What really happened in 1947 in Roswell, NM to the "aliens" aboard those ships - Day the Earth Stood Still ?
So why do US Intelligence agencies continue to cover up operation "dumkuntz" and why did Agent Mulder turn into a sex-maniac who needed therapy to recover in Kalifornication ?
This is the TRUTH about what happened in Roswell, NM in 1947, and how an invasion of psychotic aliens, "alienated" from their own planet/galaxy came to Earth eventually bringing their disease and sickness which spread as an infection like a mass plague ... it is since called "feminism" and simply anyone "infected" will "alienate" the men and normal women around them, after showing signs of bizarre behavior, that mimick the space aliens behaviors. It is recommended that if you find yourself infected with this mass social disease which has rampantly infected the West, while the East/Middle East are desperately finding ways to help us cure this malady, that you shoot yourself, since the only cure seems to be frontal lobe lobotomy, or hysterectomy/ovarectomy/vaginectomy/clit... - hell its cheaper to just shoot the thing...
Damned alien disease.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roswell_UFO_incident
http://www.ufocasebook.com/Roswellpictures.html
Clearly there is a Nazi link to space ships and feminism. The US Pentagon Library Archives lists copious amounts of information on Alien encounters and mass hysteria social diseases pandemic code named "dumkuntz" the German word for "feminist".
So who were these aliens and where did they go ?
They were the space alien females that were forced into sex slavery with the USAF pilots who discovered them in Roswell, NM in 1947.
They became loving housewives and mates, and ended up happily married, but since they are eternal beings and dont die, had to outlive their original masters, and remarried, carrying on as normal every day women today... although they are aliens.
Three are actually working in Government now. Hilary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi and Katie Couric are three of the original 7 Roswell Alien women who crashed with their ship in NM and were captured by the military. That is the reason for their bizarre behaviors and why they do not seem to act or behave or THINK like normal women. They were dejected off their home planet thousands of years ago and were booted out of every planetary system they tried to enter before crashing onto Earth.
We will boot them all back into outer space again ...along with the android-fembots they have created out of humanoid females. The Day the Earth Stood Still.... was when CBS put Katie Couric (aka Roswell woman) on as the anchor.
Source(s):
The US Pentagon Library Archives on Alien encounters and mass hysteria social diseases pandemic code named "dumkuntz" the German word for "feminist". Clearly there is a Nazi link to space ships and feminism.
Answer: The Government aren't really in the dark, but they can't come out and say "we aren't alone out here" if indeed they were aliens, because then they would be in the dark like the rest of the population, because they can't yet prove whether or not they exist. And Governments don;t like to be in the dark.
So for the US Intelligence agencies, along as Barack Obama or the president doesn't come out and say we aren't alone, they're happy. Indeed they do find these so called flying saucer things and have supposedly done research on them.

wow... i spelt ignorance wrong cause i had to post it before i went to maths tutor cause i suck shit at maths.

Answer: 1. That is a straw-man since I don't know anyone who thinks that or argues in that manner (and I'm around Christians and other Darwin skeptics every day). Biological (Darwinian) Evolution is described as natural selection (survival of the fittest) acting upon random mutations (copying errors in the genetic code) over millions of years; all living things are modified descendants of a common ancestor that lived in the distant past (common descent). The concept of evolution dates back to the ancient Greeks, but was repopularized in modern times by naturalists such as Alfred Wallace and of course, Charles Darwin who provided the biological aspect with a mechanism (natural selection). Neo-Darwinism adds the current understanding of genetics to Darwin’s ideas.
2. You really want to argue semantics here? Terms are always used differently in different circles and in different contexts. Why don't you enlighten us.
3. That is another straw-man. The evidence is pretty clear that Charles Darwin was baptized in the Church of England, but he came from a family of nonconforming Unitarians. His father sent him off to Cambridge where he studied—of all things—divinity. Now, natural selection is a logical process that anyone can observe and it was actually a Creationist named Edward Blyth who first wrote about it. Blyth published some articles describing the process of natural selection in The Magazine of Natural History between 1835 and 37—over 22 years before Darwin published his book (he just didn’t come to the same conclusions as Darwin). Creationists believe in natural selection and even "speciation." Take a look at these:
http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/nab/is-natural-selection-evolution
http://www.answersingenesis.org/get-answers/topic/speciation
4. Chemical evolution is not the same as biological evolution, but they are closely connected. Before you can invoke natural selection, you need an organism that can acquire food, make energy, and reproduce itself. Abiogenesis (or sometimes called chemical evolution) causes them all kinds of problems (life from non-life)—how is it that inorganic molecules just so happened to arrange themselves into self-replicating molecules of tremendous information? The Miller-Urey experiment (they always put in the textbook) is not even close.
5. The general theory of evolution is so “plastic” or malleable that it can be expanded to fit any data. Even data that is exactly the opposite of what has been used in the past to teach evolution is twisted as new “proof” of evolution. Just look at the Scopes trial (a real turning point in the US). Ironically, the very arguments used in Darrow’s biology lesson to convince everyone that evolution is true have virtually all been discredited and thrown out by evolutionists themselves. Since 1859 the theory of evolution has encountered a myriad of surprises and adjustments. What scientists believe about the evidence frequently changes. But, evolution is often withheld from the rigors of the scientific method because it is considered sacrosanct by many scientists. Observations fit evolution no matter what, but evolution itself is never questioned. Here is the Darwin Party M.O.:
Step 1: Assume evolution.
Step 2: Observe a fact.
Step 3: Make up a story to show how the fact might fit in with the assumption of evolution.
Step 4: Attack, ridicule, and persecute anyone who doesn’t toe the Darwin Party line.
From what I've seen, I have to agree with Timothy Wallace: “A major reason why evolutionist arguments can sound so persuasive is because they often combine assertive dogma with intimidating, dismissive ridicule towards anyone who dares to disagree with them. Evolutionists wrongly believe that their views are validated by persuasive presentations invoking scientific terminology and allusions to a presumed monopoly of scientific knowledge and understanding on their part. But they haven’t come close to demonstrating evolutionism to be more than an ever-changing theory with a highly questionable and unscientific basis. (The situation isn’t helped by poor science education generally. Even advanced college biology students often understand little more than the dogma of evolutionary theory, and few have the time [or the guts] to question its scientific validity.)”
6. Reliable methods for detecting design exist and are employed in forensics, archeology, data fraud analysis, and SETI. These methods can easily be employed to detect design in biological systems. Design theorists often employ several methods of design detection, including specified complexity, irreducible complexity, and Bayesian probability approaches.

Has anyone read Kent Hovinds doctoral dissertation ?
Savor the stupidity:
The very first line is,
"Hello, my name is Kent Hovind."
"In the twentieth century the major attack Satan has launched has been against the first eleven chapters of Genesis. He knows that the entire Bible stands or falls on the validity of those chapters. I believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant, inspired, perfect Word of God. I believe that the Bible needs to be read and believed as it stands."
"While all of the evidence is not in yet, I feel it is still the best option to take Gods word at face value. The Bible has never been proven wrong yet, and I believe it never will be."
"I would like to trace the history of evolution beginning with the fall of Satan from heaven, through the last six thousand years, to modern-day evolution, and explain what those teaching this doctrine have planned for the future.
To really understand the history of evolution, we have to understand the author. Satan is the master-mind behind this false doctrine. He was thrown out of heaven because of his desire to exalt himself to godhood. One of the underlying reasons that evolution appeals to so many people is because it appeals to mans pride."
"Someone would say, What about stars? We know that they are billions of light years away. I dont want to sound like a crackpot, but actually we dont know that stars are billions of light years away."
Heres the full document (Only recommended to be read in small doses due to extremely high concentration of stupidity)

Would this dissertation pass muster in an accredited university?
Truth: Youre right. Im just dying of jealousy at not being universally laughed at for my imbecility like Kent. Seriously, did you even read the document?
Answer: He's a crackpot. How people think he is a scholar is beyond me
In an accredited university it would never be accepted.
At religious universities; dissertations are only one page; that simply say god did it
