My mates are all friends with a girl I hate?!?
Basically, there is this one girl called Jade and I hate her.
I have a very very good reason; I wont go through it but basically she betrayed me so badly that even my parents banned me from seeing her because they dislike her and dont want me to be friends with her.
Anyway my mates Billie and Ellan were friends with Jade but we all go to different colleges && schools so like we dont see each other at college.
But we all met up each weekend outside of college and would go cinema shopping partying or whatever together.
Now that I am not allowed to see Jade, I go out with Billie and Ellan a lot but without Jade.
But sometimes billie and ellan go out with jade too.
Jade did such a bad thing that seriously i dont think they should be friends with her. They agree that what she did was TERRIBLE.
But theyre still friends with her & Ive talked to them about it but they said they still are going to be friends with her, just not as good friends as they were before.
But it upsets me cos surely if they were true mates of mine they would fall out with her? Because if Billie betrayed Ellan like Jade betrayed me, I think I would fall out with Ell.
So WHY are billlie and ell still friends with jade?
i just dont know what to do

Answer: Either set Jade up, to make her look like she's being a bitch to Billie and Ellan, or try and make up with Jade. Probably the first one, if there is no chance of you making up. You could make her look bad, by starting a rumour or something like that. Or do something bad and blame her for it.

Bestfriends Boyfriend!!?
I know it may sound odd but i have a MASSIVE crush on my best friends boyfriend! Me and my best friend are like sisters we know each other because our mothers were in labor with us at the same time and so are birthdays are together. We do everything together but my friend Ash has NEVER had a boyfriend. I have had loads but it hasnt always worked out well. They guy Zak who i dated for over 2 years was the kindest guy you could ever meet. I dumped him after a while because there were rumors that he and my other friend had been snogging in the toilets at the cinema. When he asked my best friend out i was devastated and it sounds selfish but i want him back! I love him so badly its hard to imagine! My friend doesnt know i still have feelings for him. Please Help

Who else was disappointed by "Wonders of the Universe" by Brian Cox?
Maybe Im getting old and jaded or annoyed by this style of programme but I didnt enjoy this series as much as the last one, "Wonders of the Solar System".
It really was a matter of spectacle over substance. To demonstrate a rainbow they filmed at Victoria Falls, for heat, the Namibian desert etc. etc. This may not be dumbing down the viewers but I cant help feeling that the aim was more for the cinema audience than the earnest and curious. How many shots do we need of Cox standing silhouetted by the sun, waving his fingers around or standing on a mountain top.
I cant help feeling that Brian likes to travel and the BBC, knowing that "Pop Science" sells, funds his every whim.
If this series had been on radio and not television, each episode would have been max. 15 minutes long and little would have been lost. Indeed, I for one might not have felt intellectually insulted.
This was a huge watery bouillion instead of a hearty stew.
Answer: I totally agree Brian Cox I am sure is a clever young man I saw him in an interview with Patrick Moore.
but this programme Wonders of the universe lacks content and seems to be an ego trip for him. He also speaks in a rather condescending way as if we know nothing. I find the programme most irritating.

This is a long story but ...
I have four best mates... Olli , Jade, Ryan , Joe
It was ollis birthday a few weeks Back and we were going to see a 15 in the cinema and he brought people i wasnt really friends with, Joe was with his girlfriends and ryan got along wih the people i didnt like. I got in the cinema and i seen other people in knew in there and the others they didnt come in so about 10 mins later i rang joe and he said they wouldnt let us in, Were On our way to The other cinema. (this was a big 4 floor cinema)
I said im not leaving now, i paid and its about to start
and he were like okay (moody way)
So i rang Olli and he said it was okay
And then i got a texts off lots of people saying "Thats rude"... "what a good friend you are" etc etc
I sent a text back saying Wtf olli was fine with it.
and they were like no hes really pissed off and annoyed because you left him
But i thought hang on who left who ? All of you had gone down those 4 floors and got your money back and were on your way to the other cinema and you still didnt text or ring me to let me know.
(his other best friends Jenni and Rhi didnt even turn up in the first place and they were having ago at me)
I went into school on monday ... Joe wuldnt speak to mefor 4 days (i had apologised three time s and he still wouldnt in the end i basically had to grovel) ... Ryan was being awkward and Blunt... and People were giving me stick for it. I apoligised for all of it.
Joe is still VERY awkward to me he answers my questions with one word answers and He is an Admin Of a group on Facebook that says i bitch too much.

Now im getting pushed out a lot, they go into town without inviting me...They go round joes house and im not invited... they go round ryans house and im not invited, I alwways basically have to ask for an invite anywhere, they never ask me out anymore
So do they have a right to be like this Or are they being childish ?
What should i do ?
I dont want to lose them as friends?
I want everything to go back to normal !

Answer: Forget them if they were really your friends they wouldn't treat you that way. Dont apoligize and dont regret because why do what you did in the first place if your going to regret. Make some new buddies. Dont let them think that they could boss you around. If they talk to you and want to be your friend again well accept it but dont be begging for them to come back. Later on when your having fun with your new buddies their going to miss you and their the ones who are going to regret it.
p.s i would have done the same thing you did.

Answer: The best way to do something special for your significant other is to do something you know he would enjoy. Think about different things he's said he likes in passing and try to pull from that. That will make the whole birthday more romantic. If you show him you're a good listener he will like you no matter how little you pay

Why would my "best friend" do this?
Im going out with this guy and he is great! I love him so much! weve been going out for nearly 11 months and a while ago everything felt perfect,but then i went to the cinema with my friend Lucia* and my boyfriend and we went to his house before there was a few of us but he was the only boy! and Lucia* kept flirting with him and i was a bit confused at the start and she started saying stuff to my bestest friend ever jade* who i have Known all my life, obviously she is going to tell me what she said and she was like isnt it really annoying how my boyfriend and I are always hugging and laughing together, and jade* was like no they are going out..so i was like oh she must just be jealous cause she doesnt have a boyfriend! So when we went to the cinema she made a seating plan and put her beside my boyfriend and i was like oh...ok then...even though i was still beside him i was just starting to get suspicious. Then my BFs dad was giving us a lift back and Jade and I live really close so we got dropped off first then it was Megan and the Lucia last and Megan told me that when she left the car Lucia got in beside my BF..and then i was like i think she fancies him and now she always gets his bus, makes him sit beside her and she forces him to give her a hug! So i dont really talk to her anymore..do you think thats the right thing to do?

Answer: It sounds like both Jade and Lucia are being really crrrappy friends. Firstly, Jade shouldn't have betrayed your trust by putting Lucia next to your bf at the cinema. Secondly, you need to talk to Lucia and tell her that it is totally, TOTALLY, inappropriate for her to be flirting with flirting with your bf. Also, tell your bf that you'd like him to tell Lucia not to keep hugging/sitting with him, because people might get the wrong idea.
Jeez, Lucia sounds horrible! She needs to know that she needs to STOP being unkind, and get over her pathetic jealousy.

Ok , He is my best friend but we have been off and on for 3 year but we always have stayed friends. I still really like him but i didnt know if he likes me back as more than a friend. He smiles ALOT at me and always asked how im doing and sometimes asks to pair up with me in lessons. What is the most disturbing movie youve ever encountered or heard about?
Im an extremely jaded cinephile that likes tracking down and watching extreme cinema. Cannibal Holocaust didnt affect me, 2 girls 1 cup didnt affect me, but Irreverible did. Anyone know of anything more hardcore or equal to the power of films like the ones I mentioned? Thanks.

I just feel so upset.. was I in the wrong?
So on sunday me and a few people including my boyfriend went into town, originally going to see Easy Virtue.
There was two other people (lets call them Jade + Harriette) coming aswell, but we was meeting them later on.
But when we got in town, we thought we might aswell buy our tickets now, so we can spend the rest of our money.
So we go buy our tickets, and the lads (3 of them, 2 of us) say "oh come on well go see James Bond". And of course were outvoted so we go okay and buy tickets.
Then we text Jade + Harriette saying weve bought tickets for James Bond, instead of Easy Virtue.
When we see them in the cinema they go proper mad at me and Samantha, (made up name) saying we was out of order for leaving them and not waiting.
They went off to see Easy Virtue, so they didnt miss out, and now they arent speaking to us and have no intention of, either.
I dont so much mind about that, but now in English I have no-one to speak to, as shes the only girl i speak to in there, and now I have nowhere to sit.
We got all the blame, surely it wasnt that bad?!
Ive lost my two best friends, and from what everyone thinks who I know, for no apparent reason

I cant tell whether he likes me or not!?
Im 18 years old and theres this guy (lets call him Mitchel). Me and Mitchel have been in the same class since we were 11 years old, but about a year ago I realised I kind of liked him more than a friend. I always thought he had a thing for my one of my ex best friends Katie who has also been in the same class. Hes kind of shy, not a person I would expect to approach me.
When I was 16 a group of us were at the cinema, including Mitchel and Katie. Me and Mitchel and another guy friend were walking through town to the bus stop, and I said to him So... Katie looked hot tonight, didnt she? he just sort of laughed for a second and then said You dont look too bad yourself thats the first time I realised he could like me.
When I was 17 we ended up in the same art class and we would just chat randomly, but sometimes I got the impression that he didnt want to speak to me, basically because he couldnt look me in the eye when I was speaking to him, so I sort of felt dismissed; Im not sure whether this is shyness or what...? He isnt really the most talkative person I know.
Then on nights out being 17 at a local bar, after we both had a drink he would always come up behind me and put his arms around me and stuff, but I never really thought about it in that way because at this point I still only saw him as a friend.
Then in June when I was still 17, we were at Katies birthday. We were together all night and we walked home with our arms around each other and hands clasped. When we were almost home, my other friend Sophie asked him if he wanted to kiss me but I was so embarassed because it would have been really awkward, like the way you would get on when you were 13. So i just sort of kept walking home. My friend Sophie was like he said he would, why didnt you?! But then that was that.
We didnt really speak over the summer, then when school started I was sooo infatuated! I turned 18 in october and he just recently turned 18. Over the halloween holidays, he came on to speak to me on facebook and he was trying to convince me to go to a club 2 nights later, and I told him for a laugh since i didnt have a costume I would wear fishnets and that was it, he was all for that idea. I went to the club, and he kept asking me were the fishnets were etc, etc. Me and him were outside most of the night and he was giving me loads of hugs and he was trying to get me away from this guy smoking so that I wouldnt (I recently quit) then he was lifting me up and pulling me away. He also was walking around holding my hand too. At the end of the night we had one kiss were we just pecked, not a full kiss because some drunk chick fell into us and it just ruined the moment. In school after that we were just normal until this week he was being a little more playful, like knocking my ponytail when he walked past.
It was his birthday party on Friday and me Katie, Sophie and everyone was there. He had quite a bit to drink so he was zooming around the place socialising, I was a little grim because I thought he was trying to kiss this girl, but turns out it was just one of his really good friends who is with his best friend. But still I felt rejected and I was telling myself to get over it and have a good night. But a while later me and him were standing outside but the both of us were freezing so he said for us to go inside and stand at the door and I was like nooo! everyones out here! but he dragged me inside anyway. We were just standing talking and then he grabbed my hand and clasped it in his and put it around his back. A while later Katie and Jade came inside and were like are we interrupting something?! The both of us said no, and I was like okay now theyve made it awkward! he then told me to come outside to the right of the building and he walked straight up to me really close, I sort of had my head down but when I looked up he kissed me and it was a proper kiss this time. He spun me around and backed me up against the wall and we were kissing for about 5 minutes. Then we went inside and he had his arms around me a few times after that.
Normally we dont really speak on facebook but tonight he came on and was making conversation about our art class, prob trying to ease the awkwardness that we both know is going to come in class tomorrow! The thing is, I know its just gonna go back to normal in school until another night out when weve had a few drinks.
Do you think it sounds like he likes me? Im not really sure, I just cant tell =/. Oh and he isnt the type of person to play girls or anything, he is one of the good guys you wouldnt normally go for. THANK YOU FOR READING!!

Does anyone know what this teen book is called?
Hey, I read this book when I was younger but now I cant remember what the title of the book is, so i was hoping someone could help?
It was a kind of romance story about this girl who had a thing for her best friend (I think his name was Jack/Jake) but he turns out to be gay.
And then she meets this guy called Finn, I think he was the son of a family friend and he has a motorbike and at the end of the book he gets a car because he says a motorbike is no good for taking girls out.
I also seem to think there was a photography thing with this Finn guy and they go to the cinema together. Theres also this part in the book where the girl (I seem to think her name is Jade) has a sex talk with her mum and her mums excuse for it is that her mum never told her anything about sex.
Sorry about the lack of detail I cant remember a lot but this is really bugging me, hope someone can help me!

what should i do about my bully of a friend?
Basically, i hang around with 4 people from school. (im in year 9)
their names are:
- Melissa* - who is my best friend and has been since the beginning of year 8.
- Collette* - shes started to hang around us recently, and shes really nice. Ive always got on with her and shes a real laugh.
- Adam* - He started hanging around Melissa and I at the end of year 8. He WAS alright, but ill get back to him.
- Gabriella* - shes been Adams best friend since primary school, and she hangs out with us too. shes nice and we all like her.
Ok, the situation is basicly this. there is 4 girls in our group, and 1 boy. Before, none of us at all had a problem with it. We went to the cinema, and we went shopping together and stuff and it would be fine. This would usually just be Adam, Melissa and me though. I didnt mind it at all. We where like best friends.
But then it got to the stage, that whenever me and Melissa wanted to have a girly day out and stuff, hed get annoyed if we didnt invite him!
Hed be like, "so what are we doing this weekend?"
and me or melissa would explain that we where going and hed ask to come.
He also got on our nerves because he would call us names! but say them jokingly so he could get away with it. Hed tease Melissa about her good grades, and me about my looks and personality/
But it went beyond that.
Id always got the impression that he liked Melissa much much more than me, as hed talk to her nicely. Not the way he talked to me.
I was pretty convinced that he wouldnt say anything about me to my best friend, but in the half term about a month and a bit ago, she told me that hed said loads of stuff. Like he didnt find me remotely pretty at all, and that he thought i was fake.
Melissa told me not to tell him though, because shed get in trouble. And i didnt want to get her in trouble. So i didnt say anything.
Anyway, i think he stopped after that, because me and Melissa where being really offish with him and i think he realized what he was doing.
It got to the stage where, if me and Melissa talked or joked and laughed with eachother, hed have to know EVERYTHING we said!
It was so annoying. And the thing where hed have to go everywhere with us started again. Even his best friend Gabriella didnt hang around us a lot, she hung round with other girls.
Then, our friend Collette broke friends with her best friend, and came to hang round us. it was fine. We liked her so it didnt affect us in any way.
Melissa and Collette where and still are really good mates, and i dont have a problem with that at all. Collette is one of my best friends, and id be very upset if she wasnt.
Adam has recently started to be like to Melissa, oh you should be best friends with Collette. Shes so nice. You have so much in common. Oh collette is such a good best friend for you, Isnt she Jade?

e.g, i teased him about something funny. it was a joke, and he knew it. he laughed with me! and i said sorry if i offended you and he said dont worry you didnt. and then, at gabriellas house, he took my phone and ran up the road and read my texts! when id told him not to!
and im really iffy about my phone.
and he said, well you made a joke about me. so it makes it alright.
thats not even half of what hes done, but i cant type it all down. its too long.
anyway, last night at a sleepover with Gabriella, Melissa and Adam, we confronted him. and he was like omg im so sorry i didnt realize. (even though i know he did, and Melissa and gabriella and collette think so too)
anyway, Melissas mum wanted him to sleep away from us in the backroom of the living room, because hes a boy with hormones and everything lol,
when i woke up. he was NEXT TO ME, AND READING THROUGH MY PHONE!
AND I SCREAMED, AND HE DROPPED THE PHONE AND DENIED READING THROUGH IT!
i just dont know what to do anymore. am i overreacting?

Answer: Wow he sounds so rude and annoying! I dont know any guys that act like that at all.. well not any straight ones anyway. He is not a good friend. I think he is jealous of you. Ditch him.

Does it feel like you havent seen a good movie in ages. Recommendations?
Is it just me? Particular age I’m at, making me jaded & grumpy? I havent seen a movie which blew me away for ages. One in the cinema or in front of My tv which made my jaw drop. I think the last decent sci-fi I saw was War of the worlds, or I am legend (I know some would argue). Dont know what the best horror was, probably Saw. Haven’t seen a decent thriller like fight club or silence of the lambs in years. I feel like everything released these days is unoriginal, badly scripted with a poor uninspiring storyline. Can you please recommend a good movie whichll make my jaw drop. Ill watch anything a part from soppy chick flicks or pretentious French art films.
