Ladies: Why are you sooo against prostitution?
I mean, Im a goodlooking guy, and have a great body because im a gym rat who makes enough money to spend on gyms, tanning, waxing, haircuts, highlights, protein supplements, my huge protein rich food bill, tooth whitening, etc....yeah im a pretty boy.
How is it fair for people like me to sit on my high horse and condemn such things as paying someone for sex? Imagine for a minute that getting sex was HARD. Women dont really grasp this because even an average looking woman can get sex very easy...even easier than me.
Some people are just plain ugly. Yeah, you can fix yourself up but what if you dont make a whole lot to do all that, especially when it comes to dental work which is very expensive?(im in dental..i know) It takes money to look good. And even still...sometimes people just have an ugly face. "Beat with the ugly stick as they say" . Its true, and unless you have tons of cash for plastic surgery or to fix your horribly crooked rotten and chipped teeth, your outa luck. Hookers are only a few hundred bucks, some less, some more...cosmetic work is easily in the thousands. Also, you have deformed people, amputees, people who have been disfigured in accidents. These people have it hard enough and now we are gonna make it a crime for them so satisfy themselves sexually? Some of them are war vets who have served for OUR freedom. These men shouldnt have to risk going to jail just so they can get sex.
Oh i can hear you now "Sex and attraction is about more than just looks! you are so shallow!". Your right. Personality can just be just as attractive, maybe even more. Some amputees are well adjusted to their situation, inspirational even...but are they the majority? Some very ugly people date very beautiful people...but are they the majority? Just as physical traits are genetic, so is PERSONALITY. There are some people who just have very outgoing extroverted personalities, are the life of the party etc. Some people are more quiet. If your the life of the party and you are ugly, you might be ok. If you are introverted but really, really good looking, you might be ok too. But, if your ugly and introverted, your not gonna get laid, period. These people still deserve to have sex, and if sex workers are willing to do it, why not let them? "Because of diseases! They will spread diseases like crazy!". Look at the facts...anyone who has been with 6 people could have just about everything thats out there except AIDS. Lots of people have been with six people. most girls get that done their first year at college. The average 30 year old woman has had 35-40 partners. The average "club slut" probably racks up similar amounts of men as a hooker. If it was legal, it could be very professionally done with aids test and everything. And remember, not all sex workers are 24/7. some may only have a couple clients a week, as a side thing, and they might not do it forever either. "Oh but sex should be with someone you care about, prostitution is disgusting!" Please, dont act like you have had deep feelings for every guy you slept with. Casual sex happens all the time, hookers did not invent it. The only difference is if there is MONEY involved, and money is evil right? In this country, we have sexual guilt, and guilt about money. Two stupid stigmas. Jee...sex is dirty..money is dirty...if we put them together in the same thing, it must be a terrible thing..right?. See how warped our attitudes are?
Not to mention the affect it might have on the sexual crime rate. If prostitutes were easily accesable, safer, a guy who would have gone out to rape may just relieve his angst on a sex worker. With the amount of sting operations going out to bust hookers and "johns", a rapist might truly view it more risky to buy a hooker than rape a woman at gun point.
I think alot of women hate the idea of prostitution because it would make it easier for your men to cheat. Think about that then...is the problem the hooker, or the marriage? And yes even in a good marriage, men cheat. But there again, is the problem the hooker, or the man? If thats what your man is, than thats what he is, the problem is with him.
But i just think its unfair for people who can get sex easily to make laws or have judgements on less fortunate people, amputees, accident victims, burn victims, deformed people etc, just because they need to pay for sex, dont you think?
Answer: Wow, you're really into yourself. I'm not against prostitution as long as it's consensual. If it's something a woman or man wants to do, what would I care? I am however against child prostitution and forced prostitution. I've been to Thailand a few times and think it's really sad that many of the women are basically forced into prostitution because there's no other work for them to do. What I'd like to see is education being open for everyone and being reasonably priced so people have a choice.
