Which anime/game character should I cosplay as?

I kinda want to make a costume of some anime or video game character and I came up with some ideas... 1. Would I look good as a Yuna cosplayer?

I reallly REALLY want to go to my first con, either in August or September, but I am having trouble deciding on who I want to cosplay.... I have had Yuna from Final Fantasy in mind for a long time, but I kind of wanted to confirm if I would even look good as being her.... SOOOO thats where you all come in! ^_^ Would I look good as Yuna? and if not do you have any other suggestions? THANKS SO MUCH! Opinion on these names for an anime fanfiction?

The story will be based around a girl as she goes through her life. She grew up in a very cruel environment, and as a result she has basically lost herself completely, never showing any emotion at all. However, she gets a second chance, and begins to slowly regain the personality she once had, even though there would be many ups and downs along the way. She will make friends, watch some of them died, and even kill one of them. But she always find strength in her love interest, who will also draw strength from her. She has a clear understanding of the harshness of life, and is desperate to believe that the world can also be a place of love and affection. She wants to have bonds with people and to not feel emptiness. Her true personality will eventually make itself known as being Curious, Valiant, and kind of stubborn. However, she is deeply afraid of returning to her old life, so is a little paranoid. Most people will eventually see her as a brave, respectable person. But her close friends will know that she can become easily annoyed and is a little dense when it comes to people in general. A special trait of hers, a result from experiments done on her during childhood, is her eyes. She has bright silver eyes that have an almost inhuman acuteness to sight. She is able to see things that most people cant, such as a grain of rice lost among piles of rocks, and see at much farther distances. Bright flashes of light can be painful though, so she must be careful. For this reason, her nickname is Hawk. Also, just so you can have an idea of what she looks like, my heroine has wavy brown hair that she usually leaves rather messy. Shes tall, slim, and has an athletic build). Shes very pale, and has large silver eyes. Shes not magnificently beautiful or sexually appealing to many people (she doesnt have a large chest or anything), but shes pretty if you move her hair out of her face. Dont go picturing a delicate flower, because she holds herself high and her shoulders are always squared. Her eyes are always cold, making her look very serious. Here are a few names that I am considering. Yukari- affinity, connection It is a pretty name, but also sounds stronger than other names, which is something that I want my characters name to have. Her name meaning (affinity, connection) also would reflect how she wants to be connected to people, in a way. Yuna- (read for the meaning) Another strong name There are two meanings, each of which could relect my heroine well. The first one is written as 結菜.This would translate to bond. The story will partially revolve around bonds, so this is desirable. The second meaning is spelling is written 勇菜. This means brave. My heroine is, of course, brave. So, the name Yuna can be heard and taken two different ways that both fit well with the story. Nozomi- wish, desire, hope Again, a pretty name that holds some strength. I like this name because it reflects the desires that my heroine feels. She is also a source of hope for her love interest, and therefore the name suits her. Takara- (read for meaning) Typically, this name means treasure. To the person who conducted experiments on my heroine, she is a treasure. Contradicting this, her friends will come to view her as a treasure, and she will view them the same. Another way of thinking of this name, is using the kanji たか for Taka which means hawk. And use ra, meaning skilled. This would then make her name mean skilled hawk. This would be ironic, given her nickname, and her unique ability. Please tell me which name you think I should use. Answer: Very good description unlike other people your description is not confusing and the storyline is great and i love how you describe her very well. I like the two names Yuna and Nozomi. I can't pick which one! but i like those two.

Yuna Cosplay Kimono Final Fantasy X?

Ive asked this question before but the answer didnt really help. I have the fabric now but ive no idea how to make the top half of Yunas Kimono. Im hoping to make Yunas summoning outfit from Final Fantasy X but im unsure on how to make the top half of the kimono. Heres a reference picture if youre unsure of what I mean; http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en… . Im referring to the top white half of the costume. Looking at other peoples cosplay people seem to have made the costume in two pieces meaning the skirt and the top are separate. So I was wonder could I possibly alter an existing traditional kimono pattern to fit Yunas outfit? If not do you have any suggestions, help if greatly appreciated because this is not only a cosplay project but also a Textiles project that I will be graded on. Thank you in advance. Answer: Basically I believe you can go for any of those except 勇菜 or a name involving the kanji 鷹 (hawk): - Yukari (縁): Very good and natural. Could be used for boys too, but sounds basically feminine. - Yuna: 結菜 -- Sounds very nice, and also natural. It may help to mention this name can also mean a kind of yellow hibiscus in Okinawan dialect of Japanese (the photo at the bottom of this page: http://homepage3.nifty.com/inagiyasou/photo/iriomote06/jumoku1.html ) 勇菜 -- sounds more masculine than feminine, because of the kanji 勇 (courage). - Nozomi: 希 or 望. Both mean "hope", and in fact they're put together to mean "hope": 希望 kibou = hope. Very good. - Takara (宝 = treasure): Sounds unisex (you can't tell if it's a boy's or girl's name from how it sounds). By "skillful hawk", I believe "hawk" is 鷹 taka, but I don't know any kanji reading "ra" to mean "skillful". Maybe "良", which means "good"? In that case it literally stands for "hawk-good", rather than "skillfull hawk". The "hawk" kanji 鷹 appears sort of masculine.

How do you defeat the Spectral Keeper in Final Fantasy 10?

In Final Fantasy X, after you reach Zanarkand and find out that Tidus is just a dream, you go into a temple and make strange shapes on the floor (they light up). After you do that, this giant boss comes up. He has two claws in the front. His name is the Spectral keeper. He uses attacks such as Beserk tail which doesnt allow you to control your character anymore. He also uses his front claws to do deadly attacks. You have to move away from him by moving onto different platforms. I use a lot of my aeons, but afterwards he gets so many turns in a row that I dont get a chance to attack him or heal my characters. Yuna automatically gets haste when shes weak and I dont have hastaga for Tidus. Does anyone know how I can beat him?
Answer: Wow, I just beat that yesterday, literally. Ok, basically when they're standing on the platforms, move the center person away to the platform at the top. So, each of them are on every other platform. I started off wil Wakka, Tidus and Auron. Eventually i ended up using Rikku, Tidus and Yuna.Before battle make sure that Tidus, Auron,Wakka, Rikku, and Yuna have their overdrives. A good idea would be to change their overdrive modes to comrade, it'll go up quicker that way, and then start attacking. Use many phoenix downs, life, and try to use beserk wards, (from the shields) they will help ALOT. Just attack awhile with Tidus/Auron for awhile. Then you can take Auron out for Rikku and start to get her overdrive up, (in mine she got her overdrive about 4 times) and using a grenade and a fire gem together will make firestorm. Takes off pretty good hp. Then put in yuna to summon some aeons, but try to use grand summon or make sure that the aeons have their overdrives, because after about 3 turns, the aeon will be banished. Make sure to wait awhile before you use shiva. and, use grand summon on her, when the spectral keeper has like 30,000 hp or less left. (even if she doesn't have an overdrive already) and use her overdrive from the grand summon, and then she should probably get another overdrive after the first one, use it. She'll take off about 9,999 hp each time. Depending on how you built up each character in the game will affect how you use each person. Like I used Wakka at the beginning, but since he's my 2nd weakest character i took him out as asoon as possible. So Wakka could be your 2nd strongest charater in your game but in mine he's the 2nd weakest (behind kimahri). So use your best judgement when it comes to what characters you want to use. is this a good story?

We walked into GuadoSalam, I… at the back of the pack, in front of me was Wakka, Lulu, Yuna, Riku, Tidus, Kimahri, and Auron. I was very eager to see Seymour, one of the maesters of Spira. He was the cutest Guado I had ever seen. His blue spiked hair, tall, perfect in shape body, long arms, and markings appealed to me more than Auron and his short black spiked hair and scruffy face, or more than Tidus and his almost perfect body(second to Seymour’s) and his medium, blonde spiked hair. As we walked in I stopped, I could see Seymour looking at me, he was standing on his door step, 30 feet away. I could only look into his beautiful eyes, “hurry up Alix!” Riku shouted as the team marched forward. I was the opposite of Seymour, the only thing we had in common was fitness. I was about as tall as Yuna, a little shorter, maybe by a centimeter or two, I had beautiful, long hair that went to the small of my back. I looked as though I was always blushing, but when I see Seymour my cheeks would darken a little, I was a little tan and I had night blue eyes. I slowly walked behind the team as they walked into Seymour’s huge house. I was the last in out of the team, Seymour was behind me, but I still trailed behind. “Go to the living room, first door on the right” Seymour called, his voice was smooth, it caused goose bumps on me arms. My team smiled as they entered through the living room door. The only one who looked back was Riku, who gave me a quick wink and devious smile, then pounced through the door to Yuna, and shut it behind her. I walked slowly, I could feel Seymour’s presence behind me, the aura grew closer and I was suddenly pinned to the wall, close enough to the door so I knew my friends were listening. Seymour’s arms were blocking my left and right, my back was to the wall and my torso was facing his, he dropped his right arm, the one closest to the living room door, and placed it on my cheek. He had the most beautiful smile displayed as he looked into my eyes. “Simply gorgeous” he whispered in his velvet voice, his words wrapped around my mind and heart as he slowly leaned towards me, lowering his face close to mine, our lips just seconds from touching. Suddenly Riku burst through the door. “Are you guys coming or wha-! Oh… I’m sorry, I didn’t meant to walk in on you guys” she said blushing a little, I groaned as the whole team came out to see what Riku was talking about. They all giggled quietly and gasped. “Don’t worry, it was rude of me take you’re team’s time, my sincerest apology.” Seymour said, smiling as he looked into my eyes still, he suddenly pulled away, facing Riku and the others. “Let’s just have dinner and enjoy ourselves, get to know each other more, exchange secrets.” Seymour was the first to walk into the living room again as Yuna, Tidus, Auron, Kimahri, Wakka, and Lulu followed, Riku stayed behind as she walked to me. “Seymour and Alix sittin’ in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G” she sang as we walked back in. I saw the look on Seymour’s face, he look happy, but I could tell from the look in his eyes that he was embarrassed because of Riku and her singing. I sat across the long table from Seymour, he was just looking at me, like he didn’t know I was looking back, he was so full of emotion, I could tell that he liked me just as much as I liked him. He looked at me like a blind man was seeing the sun for the first time, I could tell he had wished that Riku hadn’t walked in when he was about to kiss me, and I knew he agreed that we should have kissed anyway. Everyone was eating the food that Seymours personal cook made, except me and Seymour, we were in our own little world, talking through minds as the rest chattered quietly amongst themselves about me and Seymour and what we were going to do, if we were together, if we were going to get married, Seymour ignored them and got up from his seat and clapped his hands, suddenly two Guado appeared, the female took my hand and pulled me quickly to Seymour and the male took my chair and just as the female was going to let me fall, I thought I was going to embarrass myself again by falling on my butt, I landed safely on my chair, beside Seymour. “I’m sorry Alix, I couldn’t stand the tense air when we were just staring at each other” Seymour whispered in a sweet tone that almost caused me to shiver. He held my hand under the table so no one could see. The last thing we needed was to make Riku into a singer again. I giggled as I heard Riku shout. “If Seymour loves Alix so much, he should marry her! ” she quickly covered her mouth and I looked at Seymour, his eyes were wide and he was blushing deeply. It was weird, in the short three months that I knew Seymour, I had never seen him blush even a little, but now he was almost as red as a tomato. “I… uh… um… I don’t know what to say to that statement Riku…” Seymour stuttered at almost every word, I could tell he wouldn’t want Riku at any wedding of his even if it wasn’t me, I could tel sorry for the sudden cut off, email me if u want the whole thing
Answer: Description is like spice. If it's mixed in in reasonable amounts, it only adds to the flavor of the work, but if it's just kind of left in one giant pile at the beginning of the fic, it's like when my great-grandmother used to dump half a shaker of salt on her food: odd to see and overwhelming to the palate. The descriptive infodump you've got here would work better if it wasn't all over-the-top "beautiful," "perfect," and "in shape" that say so little about how they actually look. Try picking just a couple details to compare; don't give us an entire bland description dump right up front. Or right after the list of undescribed characters. We're not supposed to really know much about anyone but Seymour and Alix, right? Because the others are completely indistinguishable so far. Actions would help with this, or at least using them in something besides a long list. I don't know if Alix and Seymour have some past history, but it looks at once like a random one-night stand and a third-grade "romance" with how quickly they move to talk about marriage without really describing what, if anything, these two share, yet the "Kissing" song? Wasn't that a lame taunt by age eight? You also need to be careful about run-on sentences. Commas, by themselves, are not meant to tie together multiple subject-verb combinations. Also watch the ends of your quotes, because that's one place where commas can substitute for periods, as long as you've got a "said" tag at the end.

The other day i was playing some old PS2 and PS-one games and all of a sudden i began to ask myself: Out of all the relationships in these games whos is the best and most heart warming? A weird thought Im sure you all agree at the time i was playing Resident Evil 4 and was in the middle of slaughtering some Los Plagas. At first i decided to just kinda forget it because well you know how RES4 is you take your eyes off that little whiny ***** for a Second shes gone or dead. But it just kept bugging me for God only knows why? So i decided id make a list of some of the relationships in gaming that i think are the strongest and put it up here for you all to help me out and find out who the hell has a more stable relationship amongst all the game play. Please rate from 1-5 1= Tidus and Yuna (FFX): loved the game. The two of them are so shy and like each other so much that its a feel good moment when they finally kiss 2= Mario and Peach (any mario game Ever):He saves her from Bowser every time and lets admit if it was anyone of us we have given up after mario 3 3=Peach and Bowser( any mario game ever) :We all know its going on theres no way any sane person would be continually kidnapped without any support from her guards unless something funky was going on 4=Link and Zelda (any Zelda games): He puts up with her cross-dressing so ya thats gotta count for something 5=Sonic and Amy( any sonic game):Maybe not the most emotional couple but let face it Sonic loves amy whether he admits it or not 6=Henry Townsend and Eileen Galvin (silent hill 4): Once again he saves her though he barely know her so ya its up here 7=Levant and Mahbu (Jade Cocoon) : One of the most emotional connecting game i ever played Your farther abandoned you and your mom shes still in love with him and there are people saying bad stuff about her in the town. Then its up to you to save the village and you marry Mahbu despite everything Mahbu still loves you so much so that every time u ask for her help it causes her to feel pain. That is a great wife and friend for the character. It makes it that mush harder when things go wrong and she uses all her strength to save you 8= Leon S. Can you tell me how I can make this story interesting?

Yuna shivers because of the cold wind. Suddenly she hears something unusual coming towards her direction. She sees something white from afar coming towards her at rapid speed. Before she could blink, the bullet train is already in front of her. She enters and her eyes wonder around amazed by the design of the train. She arrives at her stop and tastes the beautiful coming winter breeze in Kyoto Japan. She looked around and was amazed of the beautiful scenery that surrounded her, a backdrop of the most amazing things Mother Nature could offer. The sky so mellow in its blue color and free from its imperfections, whereas the sun lightly warms everything it sees below. A slight breeze blows towards her direction kissing her face while she watches cherry blossoms fall slowly in grace. Yuna couldn’t believe that she has finally arrived in Kyoto. It has always been her dream to travel to such a beautiful place full of culture. Upon arriving at her hotel room, she slams the door, looks around the room and starts screaming in excitement. Yuna runs outs to the balcony and takes in a deep breath. “First things first!” she tells her self, “I must see Fushimi Inari Taisha” She has seen this place in a movie once and promised her self that this will be the very first place she visits. Yuna then rents a bicycle and goes off to Fushimi Inari Taisha. Yuna happily rides up the Inari Mountain to make her way to the shrine when she sees a boy having trouble with his bike. It seems that he has a flat tire. Yuna kindly offers him help knowing that there is nothing much she could do. “Where are you off to?” the boy asks Yuna. “I’m going to visit the shrine” she responds. Then the boy smiles and introduces him self as Taidus. It turns out that Taidus lives in the Inari Mountain and knows the place pretty well. He offers Yuna a tour around his town and Yuna happily accepts. Yuna is exhausted from their trip to the mountain but when they finally get there she was even more breathless being so astonished. She then makes her way through the torii and tears begin to fill her eyes. “What’s with this girl” Taidus thinks to him self. Taidus finds Yuna very interesting and strange. Going down the mountain Yuna and Taidus spots a monk meditating on the side of the road. Yuna becomes fascinated as Taidus explains to her that meditation is a part of a daily routine of a monk. “I want to take a picture with him but I don’t want to disturb him” Yuna says. Taidus then bursts out laughing, “You are so weird lady” he responds. It was almost night fall and Taidus tells Yuna that he will escort her to her place. She thanks the stranger that became her friend for the beautiful day she had. “Taidus if you’re not doing anything tomorrow…… CAN YOU TOUR ME AROUND Kiyomizu-dera!!!” she screams with the biggest smile on her face while trying to look cute like a heroin from an anime. Taidus stares at her and accepts. “Under one condition” he says. “You must treat me to some otori” Yuna nods and tells him that they must meet up before sun rise. I feel like there is something missing in the story. It needs to be more funny or something, but Im all out of ideas. Pls help and be serious..

More description would invoke the senses of the reader, and therefore make it more compelling, i.e. 'Yuma shivers because of the cold wind' doesn't sound as good as 'The hard grip of the ferocious wind froze Yuma to the bone'. 3. Think about your sentence structure, they are very short, usually statements. Try to develop them more by rearranging the words. e.g. 'Taidus finds Yuna very interesting and strange' is rather bland and direct. You could say 'Taidus was intrigued by the bizarre aura of this stranger, and was eager to learn more about her' i.e. a more interesting way of saying what you said. 4. Never, ever, try to inject humour into a story unless it comes naturally. It will seem bland and people won't like it, trust me. Im curious to figure out the identity of the cosplayer known as "Shibata Yuna/Shibata Ina" on the internet. So far I have come across mixed results while searching for information regarding her identity, ranging from a sob story that says she died in a car accident, to Shibata Yuna/Ina being the name of a porn star and not the actual cosplayers identity. Is there something wrong with my Final Fantasy 10 game, or my playstation2????

Okey, Im now on the Via Purifico( Yunas execution labryth) and Ive gotten Auron and I saved. But everytime I go down the halls or when I managed to run into Isaaru, when the battle screen came up there was the charater moving as usual and the music going the right way. But the enemies dont appear. Its just a blank screen with the charater and music, and the monsters or enemies never show up! it just sits there and I cant get out of it! i thought my game may be scratched and thats why its doing this, so i applied the toothpaste trick! it didnt seem to remove any scratches at all. Ive gotten so far into this extremely awesome game and I dont want to end now. Is there a free way tyo do this, you know, fix it? Or, is there something wrong with my ps2? and does toothpaste really work? if not the first time, should I do it again? please help! if you do, i wont pway the cangawoo song no more!!!
Answer: 2 cases can cause this problem: laser on ps2 or disc condition try different ps2 discs and see if they play flawlessly, then try wiping the laser on the ps2, underneath the cover with a lightly wet paper towel, let it dry. Clean the disc with a commercial product, with a special buffer. $30 comes with the whole thing so you can clean your discs for years to come "Disc Doctor"?

Final Fantasy X - Tips on defeating Seymour the second time?

Im talking about the Seymour that has the little scorpion guy next to him. I forget what the hell hes called now and I wanna chuck my PS2 out the window. As of now everyone has their overdrives ready except Yunas aeons, but I plan on getting theirs ready too. Yuna does NOT know reflect yet and I cant seem to find it on the sphere grid. Any quick ways to find it / what is it near on the sphere grid (I looked around the entire thing and I couldnt find it, but if I know whats around it that might help) / are there items Rikku can mix to cast Reflect / what items can you steal from fiends that will cast reflect, and what fiends and where? I know this will come in handy so Id really like to have it before trying again. Everyone has 2000+ HP. Not too much higher, I think Wakka tops them all with HP somewhere around 2400. How much HP should they have at this point? Kimahri is my hardest hitter by far. Yuna knows all her Nul spells but the scorpion-looking guy with Seymour uses Desperado and it stops them all from working. Obviously I have no time to cast them all again because of Seymours stupid magic spells. I cant tell if he casts spells in a certain order like he did during the first battle. I didnt last that long. :( Lol. Tidus knows Haste. I hope to have him learn Hastega before the battle. I dont have too many good items. I didnt use Rikku much and now Im regretting it, hah. Any tips would be a huge help. Ive looked up the walkthrough, and it has helped a bit but not by much. This is how I know Haste and Reflect will come in handy, to have everyones overdrives ready, etc. It doesnt tell me, however, what to do if I dont have Reflect at this point and how high my HP should be.
Answer: If i was you, i would look up the walkthrough on the internet. It'll will tell you how to do everything, what spells to use, what characters. > EDIT < If the walkthrough didn't help, then before you go into battle with Seymour again. Just keep batteling monsters until you get all the spells you need, and level up your characters. Hope i helped. :)

How do I make yunas staff from FFX?

I have a color guard competition coming up in which im using some music from final fantasy ten, and my friend said it would be a cool idea to use yunas staff as a prop for some of it, so, could someone maybe post a link to an online tutorial or point me in the right directoin, or post instructions here if you feel inclined, it would be a great help, thank you in advance!

There are 6 diferent ones. Thereare 32, but they only look like one of the six. The Nirvana is the name of her legendary weapon, so you can look up that.

What happens at the end of "The Queens Knight" by Kim Kang Won?

The tension is driving me nuts! I cant help but have this huge fear cause i feel like I know how it ends up and I dont want to further my attachment to some of the main characters. I just want to know what happens at the end. Does Yuna end up with Ehren or Reino? Springtime in Phantasma is it really the cause of her love for Reino or could it simply be because she just loves other stuff (like does it really have to be a guy, cant she already have love and that the only reason winter came was that she became stronger as a person and was able to love herself??) If Reino fell in love with Yuna does that mean he cant be like the demon lord or whatever? Does Yuna ever go back home and reunite with Kahyun and her family?? There is other stuff I want to know but I cant really think of them, Im pulling my hair out enough as it is >_< If I know now then it will be easier to deal with the outcome when I go to finish reading it, which may be hard cause I cant seem to find any official english translated hard copies of 13 thru 17 (the last volume) and most of the scanlations are ordered funny chunks of the story was missing for the beginning of the series so I cant trust em.
