Answer: yea i used to work downtown and i would take the train from plano. If there is an event going on at the AAC then they will provide a train route. It doesnt run all the time... its only when theres an event. You will want to get of at Victory. Answer: It's further north but the Irene Apartments in Friendship heights is doing 2 months free w/ a $1500/mo 750-900 sq/ft studio apartments. Its a great place and an easy quick ride downtown

How do you get from Ogilvie station to the red line downtown Chicago?

Im going to a concert at the Metro by Wrigley Field, and Im taking the Metra train to Ogilvie station, but how do I get from there to where I get on the red line CTA to take me to the Addison stop?
Answer: The closest way to go would be to walk north on Clinton to Lake and take either the Green or Pink Line over to State/Lake. Just take whichever one comes first, since they both follow the same route between Clinton and State/Lake. At State/Lake, you can make a free transfer to the Red Line. Just be sure to save your transit card. On the return trip, you could reverse your route but you will probably want to take the Green Line back to Clinton rather than going all the way around the loop on the Pink Line. See http://www.transitchicago.com for transit information. There may be an easier way to go by getting off the Metra train before reaching Ogilvie, but I would need to know which line you are taking.

So from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to Montreal (as long as the bus lines are fairly close to the schools). My girlfriend is going to McGill. Also, is there a bus line from Champlain College (Saint-Lambert) to McGill (Montreal)? Any info on these 2 questions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Answer: Bus 211 goes between Lionel-Groulx Metro on Atwater (downtown) and the Campus in Ste Anne de Bellevue. Champlain College is very close to Longueuil Metro. Can Metrolink Riverside Line take me to Downtown Pomona by 7AM?

I need to go to Downtown Pomona before 7AM this week and if anyone can let me know would the Metrolink Riverside Line get me there????? Also, is there one at 12 noon that can take me back to union station ? Ive checked the schedule and most of the hours are blank.
Answer: you don't need metrolink to get to the downtown Pomona Station you can take the Foothill silver streek bus from Los Angeles and it will get to the station by 7am you catch either the 5:46 or 6:01 (from the Alameda/El monte on ramp) both bus will get to the pomona station by 7am (and you can take the silver streak back to Los Angeles as well cost is $2.50 (which incidentally is lot cheaper then metrolink would be) http://www.foothilltransit.org/busSchedule.aspx?busNumber=707

is it against the law to be over the white line when paralle parking downtown?

my friend got a $70 parking ticket for being over the white line a lil bit. but there where two other cars there at the same time and she left before they did and THEY didnt get a ticket but her. is it posible that they are targeting her because of her out of state license plate?
Answer: Is it illegal? Yes. Why did she get a ticket and the other cars didn't? I don't know. Is it possible they were targeting her for out of state plates? Again, I don't know. We only have one part of the story, an I don't even know if you were there to see it. You may just be relaying what she told you. If she wants to fight it, that is her right. But she is going to have a real hard time proving this in court. If you were with her at the time, you could act as a witness, and that could help.

How is the safety-factor riding the LA Metro Red Line from Hollywood to Downtown by oneself at 10pm on a week?

night? I hear the Red Line is unusually pristine for LA public transit and was thinking about using it when going to screenings and the like to avoid nighttime rush-hour traffic. But is it a-Okay later in the evening for those used to the typical city junk?
Answer: I'm assuming you're a guy from your name, but even so, it's a bit sketchy that late at night. The economic situation is upping crime, there has been more car break-ins, hold ups, etc downtown where all the big buildings are, which is unusual. Chances are you'd be fine, but be aware of your surroundings. Also, depends on the Hollywood neighborhood. Around the Dome it's been a bit funky lately, same with Highland. So the less walking the better. I haven't had much problem driving to screenings/premieres from downtown (Westwood, Universal, Hollywood) and being there on time. Maybe I'm more used to traffic. ugh = )

and I heard its worse....from start to finish on the west and east lines and that Marta is only really safe ( a little) once you get to Lenox and beyond on the north line.
Answer: I assume you are talking only about the MARTA rail system and not the MARTA buses since you specifically mentioned lines. I wouldn't say it is scary exactly, but you do have to pay attention and be aware of what is going on around you. I don't like to ride it at night if I can help it, but during the day is okay if you're not in a hurry to get wherever you're going.

Answer: The pink line doesn't really get close to any beach. The 12th St beach is closest to the Adams/Wabash stop. Oak St beach is closest to State/Lake stop. Both are about a mile from the pink line.
