Quranists, do you follow a Hadith?
If someone is confused about a Hadith or doesnt understand something the only logical thing to do is ask those who know. If you dont know something just ask!
Why languish confusion and doubt and keep your troubles to yourself?
Alhamdulilah, Muslims today have resources which provide them with access to scholars who have studied these issues and can provide answers for them and clarify their confusion. This is especially what Muslims need to do when it comes to the Hadith since it can be very easy for a non-scholar to get confused in the area if they dont turn to others for help.
As for understanding the Quran, it is true that one can understand the complete Islamic message from the Quran itself. However, they will not be able to implement the Quranic injunctions accurately in their life without turning to the Ahadith which clarify how the Prophet pbuh implemented the laws, under what conditions and circumstances.
Since the Quran came to the Prophet (swws) and the Hadiths were his sayings, how do you know that the Quran is not Hadith and vice versa?
You do realize that by accepting the Quran you are accepting something that the Prophet first said to the people?
What is your basis of identifying the Quran apart from the Hadith, for all you know they can be the one and the same. To reject the Hadith is in fact a rejection of the Quran. Read the Quran, it’ll lead you to the Sunnah and the Hadiths, i.e. The Hikmah that Allah mentions in so many places.

A message to everyone?
I dont know why people sent me strange messages commenting on my answers......
My point of view was
People who placed their pictures are the ones who were sociable and have a good self esteem, but that doesnt mean that the rest are not. It is like if you put you are as stated above, but if you dont it doesnt mean you are not, it is still undecided because maybe you have your reasons for not making so but the ones who put have passed in being sociable people (which doesnt mean that the rest are not because they didnt put).
I think some of you still dont understand but it is like to pass the exam you must answer 20 questions in any section, these people answered in that section and passed, but the rest could answer in any other section and still pass
I think it is getting more complicated lol
Well thats 1, another thing is that when I said who has a good photo it means i liked the photo itsself, photography is a whole category which has many aspects and factors, like albonboneys picture was with 3 parrots looking great, a beautiful minds angle and shadow was great etc etc, that doesnt mean that the rest are bad, the rest of the photos are normal passport pictures of a person looking into the camera and smiling and we are not in an airport lol.
So This is my own point of view, I respect everyone in this category specially the older members and moonrise (although she didnt put a pic and has a low self esteem lol) because I like her answers and la elle because of facing me off with a question and I dont have anything against anyone.
One more thing where did the older members go, I like to send many greetings for ADAM, ZOSER, KALOOKA, GAMMA ALERT, RANOOSH, NOHA and her SISTER (dont remember the name), where did they go? I saw a completely different place while I was away......

How do we fast for a WHOLE YEAR?
it was eid yesterday in Australia alhamdurillah. After the eid prayer the imam was saying some islamic messages, i didnt understand because he was speaking in arabic but then another imam translated and he talked about fasting 6 days of Shalwa i think it was called. he said if you fast 6 days of that month which is this month; which the 6 days start from today (2nd day of eid). if you fast those 6 days plus the ramadan you faster it is like you have been fasting for a whole year.
i asked a lady beside me she said you can fast any 6 days within this month it doesnt have to be one after the other aslong as you fast 6 days within this month. but i asked my older cousin and she said you have to fast 6 days one after the other from the 2nd day of ramadan.
could anybody clarify who is correct. because i want to fast the 6 days.
