Can I get a boarding pass for Air Asia at KL airport WITHOUT going through immigration?
I arrive into KL airport at 5.05am and have a flight to Camodia at 7.05am the same day. I will not be taking any checked in luggage. Will it be possible to get a boarding pass for my second flight without going through immigration? I will be in the low-cost carrier terminal flying with Air Asia.
Answer: Apparently not, Air Asia does offer baggage transfer and ticketing in the Transfer Hall but only on certain routes. Flights to Cambodia are not listed as being eligible. You might check with Air Asia to be sure (which is hard to do) but it doesn't appear as if you can:

Answer: AirAsia, or rather their long haul sister, AirAsiaX, only flies to Gold Coast, (OOL), Australia. You could take a connection to Brisbane (BNE) using Virgin Blue if you're on a budget.
However, I would recommend Royal Brunei Airlines if you are on a budget and want full service. Royal offers low fares especially for flights originating from Kota Kinabalu. They also fly to Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Hong Kong, Manila and their hub is Seri Begawan. No alcohol is served however, so bring along your own (not more than 2 bottles, as Brunei is a Muslim country).
AirAsiaX does not offer free check in baggage allowance (you need to purchase that) or food (need to be purchased for 20 Malaysian Ringgits, about 6.50 US dollars). The LCCT terminal is not exactly...good.
Royal Brunei's fare will be around 2500 Malaysian Ringgits per person, round trip, from KUL - BNE. If you calculate the extra fees AirAsia imposes, the fact that you have to find a connection to BNE from OOL, the fact that AirAsia could be in heavy delays since it only has one Airbus 330-300 and the fact that AirAsia "is not held responsible for any missed connections" (read their fine print), I'd rather take Royal Brunei.
But beware that Royal, though great if you are on a budget, (complete with inflight entertainment and complementary hot meals) is not a faultless airline. If you are willing to spend more money, take Malaysia Airlines (best economy class), Singapore Airlines or QANTAS.
For a more cheaper option, take a flight to Kota Kinabalu(BKI) from Kuala Lumpur (I recomend MAS for convenience, but AirAsia is allright)and go to BNE from there. You can get a flight for 1890 Malaysian Ringgits, per adult, round trip including all taxes.

Remember, flights from BKI are the cheapest, so I recomend taking a flight to BKI, and then onward to BNE. Be patient and flexible with your dates to get the best bargain.

Has anyone flown with Air Asia or Tiger Airways?
Im deciding which airline to use. I am flying on July 3 from Singapore to Phuket. Air Asia costs $100 and Tiger Airways costs $110. Has anyone flown with either of these airlines? How was your experience? What are the chances of a delayed/cancelled flight?
Also, how many carry-ons and check baggages are allowed and what is the weight limit?
Answer: I've used both and i think their service is similar. When I used the both flight was on-time so can't comment on that.

Answer: Guests are what Air Asia calls passengers. If you're flying alone, then the one guest will be you. If you're traveling with others and buying the tickets together, they wil be the other guests.

Flying air asia Bali to india via malaysia requries a transit visa?
Im an indian flying air asia from bali to kula lampur & in 6 hrs got to catch another flight from kula lampur to mumbai. so do i require a Malaysian transit visa or is it air asia arrival/departure is in the same terminal of kula lampur airport(KUL) ?? or will i not require a transit visa as im flying 2 separate flights but same airline just have kill 6 hrs.
Answer: It depends. If you are using the same flight (plane) after the transit stop en route to India, then visa is not needed. Otherwise, u will need a transit visa
Also, if you need to leave the airport transit area for whatever reason, then you will definitely need a visa.

Do Air Asia flights have power sockets to charge laptops ?
Hi !
I am travelling from Melbourne to Mumbai thru Air Asia, and this is my first time flying with them. I have heard that they do not provide in flight entertainment and hence I was hoping to use my laptop during the flight.
I wanted to know if anyone knew if the seats have power sockets to charge laptops, as the battery is bound to run out of charge mid way.

wearing glasses will not affect your ability to fly or competitiveness during employment selection, although it will be a requirement to wear your glasses at all times whilst flying and this will be printed on your medical. good luck
