Answer: 1 ) MOM ( Ministry of manpower ) do not require " registration " to work for any kind of jobs .
2 ) foreigners are not permitted to employment unless hold a valid work pass before they can work in Singapore. if you are not Singaporean / PR , you Employers will submit work pass application for you, remember - before work pass approval - you unable to work. work pass application only submitted by Employers.
3 ) if you are foreigners , search for jobs . you prospective Employers will handle necessary document for you.
4 ) keep in mind - those job local citizen / PR able to handle . MOM will never issue any type of work pass to foreigners ( accept Malaysian ) . forget about it - if you want to work as " sales man " and you are not Singaporean / PR or Malaysian.

If Ill go to Singapore to work, do I still have to get an Eligibilty Certificate from Ministry of Manpower?
If not, will the companies accept me?
Answer: With an EPEC (Employment Pass Eligibilty Certificate), you will be granted up to 12 months SVP (Social Visit Pass) to allow you sufficient time to look for a job and attend job interviews in Singapore personally. But it is really not necessary if you have already secured a job in Singapore before you come over.

do hiring companies actually check with the Ministry of Manpower for your employment history?
due to family concerns and pressure, i have worked full time in my relatives company for 2 years but i was not officially employed. my salary was more like an allowance. there was of course, no CPF contributions by the company. so does that mean that the Ministry of manpower (MOM) will not have any record of my employment for the 2 years at my relatives company?
if so, can i still include my work experience for these 2 years into my resume? my relative said he can vouch for my employment there.
will hiring companies find out that MOM and CPF Board do not have these 2 years record and accuse me of lying then black-list me?
Answer: MOM what country is that in?, in US all the new company does is call the old company for verification.
