So when Piyush Jindal loses re-election in 2011, will all his admirers still say hes presidential material?
Jindal was able to win last time because he was the only candidate with good statewide recogition. The anti-Jindal forces were divided by geography. Georges in New Orleans, Campbell in North Louisiana, and Boasso in Acadiana.
Had Breaux run, it would have been a slaughter for Jindal. Had anyone of statewide stature run, Jindal would have been down for the count. His vote total only a few points over 2003.
The chances are Mitch Landrieu will run for and win the governors mansion in 2011. So when this happens, my question is, will people still be fawning over him as a presidential candidate, or will a bunch of outside money flood into a Louisiana election to try and buy it so they can protect their dream

As people keep talking about this nonsense of him running for president, his ratings will go down. One thing we dont tolerate is those who wont put the state first, and I dont think he can.
And as for the comments about the Landrieus, you know, if Mary Landrieu was so bad, you could come up with some good competition. Terrell?, one of the rudest women in the state. Kennedy, who wasnt even a Republican anyway but you got him to switch parties because no real Republican wanted to challenge her. And you couldnt even beat her when she had to share a ticket with Barack Obama
Mitch Landrieu is one of this states best leaders and he will make a fine governor. Will be the first time weve had a New Orleans governor in a long time

And if you look at many of the parishs Jindal wins, more people voted against him, but he had the plurality. Funny how that works.
And the Republicans are hypocrites on this because on the one hand, you sent money and operatives into New Orleans to make sure that Ray Nagin could win re-election, just so you could use Nagin winning to run against New Orleans in elections in other parts of the state
And Blanco wasnt the best governor, but its not like she was meant to be anything other than a placeholder. Jindal would be nothing without Mike Foster. He would be nothing without him. Why Foster took a shine to him, I dont know, cant complain about him, Foster did help Mary.
Well just see how his popularity starts stacking up once the national press corps starts flooding into Baton Rouge. We in this state dont like national scrutiny, doesnt jive with how this state works.

Does a new Pennsylvania Poll show that Obama wil likely lose that state in the 2012 presidential election?
A Quinnipac University poll of 1,366 registered Pennsylvania voters conducted last week shows Obamas job approval rating slipping to just 42 percent, an all time low, while 53 percent disapprove of the way the president is handling his job.
The finding represents a sharp decline in the presidents standing in the Keystone State. Quinnipiacs last poll in Pennsylvania, taken just nine weeks ago in mid-February, showed 51 percent of voters approved of the job the President Obama is doing, while 44 percent disapproved.
Perhaps even more concerning to Obamas campaign team is that for the first time a majority of Pennsylvania voters say President Obama does not deserve another term in the White House. Fifity two percent of voters -- including 56 percent of independents -- say Obama does not deserve re-election, while just 42 percent believe he does.

Answer: There are statewide events in the early Caucus and Primary states -- for example at the State Fair in Iowa. The 2011 schedule will be a marathon of early announcers -- Palin, Huckabee, Romney, Tancredo. The Republican side will be white-hot with a lot of negative denunciations.

Answer: Apparently no Tea Party members are going to answer this question so I'll try to answer for them.
Their 'agenda' doesn't include any of the things you are asking about so I don't know how they would deal with those issues. Their main priorities are balancing the budget, simplifying the tax system, and things along those lines. You can find out more in the link below:
