Anyone had any problems with sony erricsson k610i?

I purchased a brand new sony erricsson K610i(1 week ago) and found that the text display is blurred.Went back to the Singtel shop and the customer service staff tested another phone (same model) and found the same problem.I was told that it is the same for all the phones for this model and i could check with sony erricsson if i am not satisfied.Just want to know if there is anyone out there with the same problem?
Answer: I just got a K610i about a month ago. I find tht the screens are not very clear in terms of colour brillance and sharpness as compared to nokia phones. one thing u cld try is to set the phone to full brightness. (settings/display/brightness). this helps alot in image quality i find. However i'm rather satisfied with the phone and the text displayed is readable. maybe you cld try changing the size of the texts. it may help. all the best =))

will i lose all files (images/video/sms/contacts) if i juz bought 3G sim card?

hi just have a free 3G SIM card that SingTel gave me, same number. The new SIM is not activated yet, the shop told me that it would be activated duly. So now my old Sim card is now put it into the new hand phone (a free phone that SingTel gives as well), I realize I cannot see any of my SMS/contacts/pictures/videos. Think now, if i put back the old SIM into old hp, should still able to c my things. But......does it mean once the new SIM card is activated, every info from previous handphone is lost ? If i really need old things to maintain, I would need to go back to the Singtel shop and ask them not to activate the card? Can help advice? thanks!!!

I dont like studying in Singapore at all.?

Ive been studying in Singapore for half a year. Education here is totally terrible, teachers speak in Singlish - very difficullt to understand. Even whenever i did my presentation in class, teachers did not like my American accent, and my marks are totally lower than others, who speak English like Singaporean or even the ones who speak horrible English. People around also speak very bad English that made me wonder how i can improve my English in this country. The way they speak is really hard to understand, pronunciation is totally wrong. Do Singaporean have their own dictionary, with their own way of pronouncing ? NO. they dont. They always say American accent is stupid ??? Once i came to a shop and asked them how to use Singtel SIM CARD, after answering me, i did not understand even a single word, then they staired at me and said "Stupid, do your know English?". They themselves are not good at English, but they are too confident and proud of their English skill, so funny to me. I really dont like to stay in Singapore, my English are going to be worse.
Answer: Go and find some other teachers... Speak more English at home with your parents.... Read more books... Some Singaporeans are like that... You can't blame them right? Nobody is perfect.. I know of many teachers who are good in English.... but there are also some teachers who are quite bad in English and speak in Singlish... What are your teachers there for? They are there for you to ask questions you don't know.. Give you advice when you're in doubt.. Some people like accents but some others may not.. I like all accents because they are unique... It all depends on who you are with.. Find some friends who don't really care who you are but what you are like... I'm sure there are some people like that in Singapore.. You just haven't found them yet... If you really can't stand it... maybe Singapore is not for you... I apologise on their behalf...... Sorry... So.... Good luck with your studies :D @Nisa All this bullcrap about who is the best... Just give it a rest already.... If you really want to play.. "They think they are good on what they do." I think it should be "They think they are good in what they do." ( I may be wrong ) :) I mean.. seriously... there will always be someone better than you and there will always be someone worse than you.... If you don't insult others.. I don't think others will insult you too.. Don't really know how to end this but.. Be proud of your country. :D

My dad was con into signing two mobile contract with two telecommunication providers?

One day my dad who is 80 yrs old meet someone who claim to be our old neighbour and con him to sign up two telecommunication contract him that the telecommunication shop will give him two hundreds. After signing the contracts, the man paid him S$100 and promise to come back to pay my dad another S$100 the next day but he did not turn up after that. After one month, I received Singtel bill amounting to S$669.88 & Starhub amounting to S$1,894.18 and we have made a police report. We have even sent the police report to the singtel and starhub. Now we have received legal letters now and pressing for payment now. We are loss now and need advice urgently.
Answer: Who made all those calls? Drop the service. What does dad need with credit at age 80 anyway. Tell them you are dropping the service. pay for any calls YOU made and tell them to go straight to hell.

Does anyone know if there are any mobile phone stores that is able to sign up all of the subcriptions by different service providers at one place? the thing is most shops are exclusive retailers for only one particular service provider. the reason why im asking this is because i have a Starhub voucher and i wanted to get a Sony Ericsson K800i in Allure Brown but this color model is only available in Singtel and M1 dealer shops. so i figured, if i can go to a shop with Starhub and one other service provider, i can get my phone there!
Answer: Hi there, those private dealers won't accept Starhub vouchers. It is only accepted at Starhub shops & those stores listed on the voucher. And as for your phone, even if you manage to go to one dealer that does two providers, (alot of them do dual providers actually), they will not sell it to you unless you get a Singtel/M1 plan, as it is not exclusive to Starhub (meaning you will not be able to get the phone you want with your Starhub plan anyway). Only way you can do it is buy the phone without contract at the Starhub shop.

When will the iPhone 3G S be released in Singapore?

Its already out in other countries so I would like to know when it will be available for sale in Singtel shops in Singapore. Thanks.
Answer: SingTel said the phone will be available in Singapore in July. SingTel's Australian unit, Optus, said in a separate statement that it will offer the iPhone 3G S from June 26. It's either already here, or hitting the stores in a few days from now.
