Wow! America is really on its death bed! If we owe China & Russia whom we have never had solid realtions with over history, whats to stop them from taking over our Country.
Answer: For one thing, they don't have nearly enough money -- you don't seem to understand how much is required for a "bailout". And their wealth is not in the form of cash. Bill Gates doesn't have $50 billion in cash sitting around, it's $50 billion in Microsoft stock, which cannot be used to help anything. And if there is a market panic and stock market crash, those billionaires will be a lot less rich because their stocks will have declined.
The proposed bailout involves using $700 billion in CASH to buy distressed loans. All the billionaires on your list put together most certainly do not have a total of anywhere near $700 billion in cash sitting around, probably not 1% of that. And if they sold their assets to raise as much cash as possible, that in itself would cause the market crash they're trying to prevent.

Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?
This is multi-billionaire Apple company-founder Steve Jobs quote.
http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/s/steve_jobs.html
If I had learned education, I would not have had time to learn anything else.
--Cornelius Vanderbilt (10th richest person in History!)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornelius_Vanderbilt
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_wealthy_historical_figures
Thus, why is it really considered unethical to be ruthless & greedy? I mean, the people who were so became the richest ever (including Bill Gates) & wrote their names in Golden Words in History!
Apple stole GUI idea from Xerox and Bill Gates stole it from Apple. And, he remained worlds richest for 13 years consecutively!
Seriously, why join the navy if you can be a pirate? What benefit do we get by remaining good when all the people whom we consider dishonest & crooks are ruling the world, including most businessmen and politicians? If God is there, why hasnt He punished them? Is there no God?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirates_of_silicon_valley
"The railroads are not run for the benefit of the dear public -- that cry is all nonsense -- they are built by men who invest their money and expect to get a fair percentage on the same."
"The public be damned!... I dont take any stock in this silly nonsense about working for anybody but our own."
--William Henry Vanderbilt (4th richest person ever born!)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Henry_Vanderbilt
If theyre not working for the good of the society, why do we keep on working for them? If you start seeing clearly, the rest whatever small charity they do is only for propaganda & controlling the public.
Answer: Keep in mind you may not have a boat ...and the Navy does!

A Collection of 60 Inspirational Steve Jobs Quotes About Life ...
Anyway, in this roundup I've collected 60 of the most inspiring Steve Jobs quotes. Enjoy! :). “Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. ...
What does this quote mean by steve jobs?
"You cant connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life" - Steve Jobs
Can you give me or more clear and precise explanation/
thanks
Answer: What an interesting combination of words! This quote reffers to the Past-Present-Future axis of time, and to our lives in connection with this axis, this predefined "path" the we , as humans, MUST follow. It is about understanding and accepting at the same time that you cannot understand it all.
"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards". You must live with no expectations of outcomes, you cannot waste precious time planning your life ahead. Things should make sense when you look back into your past. You must go with the flow, trust your instinct. Understand the past and accept that you cannot understand the future. You have to believe that it will all fit together at some point in the future. You must believe in something, God, Karma, Destiny , it's not important what you believe in, but it is crucial to just BELIEVE.
Quitting expectations enables you to enjoy life as it is, and to realise the meaning of some things that at the moment, in the past, didn't seem to fit. This will be a silly example, but let's imagine that your car stops working on your way to an important conference. You may be nervous and say "oh, I won't make it to the conference! Why did this happen to me?!" . That's a wrong way of handling things, you must believe that things will happen your way, that you are fortunate and just have trust. Maybe, who knows, a gentleman would pass by and take u to the conference.
In conclusion, the dots in your life don't connect unless their purpose has been fulfilled. Therefore, don't try to connect the dots of the future, 'cause you will not be able to do it. Just live! That was a beautiful quote, and I enjoyed interpreting it! Have a great day! ;)

Im looking to purchase a digital camera. Im torn between the Canon Digital Rebel XT and XTi.?
The XTi is around $120 more than the XT, which isnt the problem, but is it really worth it to buy the XTi over the XT? Are the differences in picture quality worth the extra price, are the extra features worth the extra money, is the XTi a better overall investment? Should I just go the extra mile and get the XTi (since in a few years the 8MP XT will be obsolete, to quote Steve Jobs :P)
Answer: I've looked at both and would say that the extra money to get the XTi is worth it. In my opinion just the much larger LCD on the back is worth the difference to my aging eyes, but the CCD has been redesigned with a couple of new features. It has an anti-static coating to help prevent dust from settling on the CCD and causing spots on your photos and shakes itself off to help dislodge any dust that might get on it.
You probably won't see any difference from 8MP to 10MP unless you are blowing up small portions of the image to a large size, so that isn't as much a factor as the other design differences.

Actions against negative Word of Mouth ?
Hello there,
Customer finds a cockroach in his plate at a restaurant. Takes a pic, goes back home, blogs about it, and it spreads like a virus across the city. And in no time theres direct affect of negative Word of Mouth.
Word of Mouth is the most powerful promotion tool, and a negative one is surely not good at all. "Not good if youre on the other side", as Steve Jobs quoted regarding iPhone 4 signal problems.
Has also hit the core customers of the business.
In a Middle Eastern country, consider this factor please, consumer behavior is a little different (But do not predict/assume everything there is to the extreme as displayed by the media today).
P.S. I know it is really disgusting so mentioning that wont help. Please answer with a response in shape of any marketing tool. Either a complete strategy, or variation of a single marketing factor, etc.
Thank You very much in advance.
Answer: Sue them if they have damaged your business.

Steve Jobs quote, whats it mean?

Everything else is secondary.”

I need the meaning of this quote spoken by Steve Jobs. Please Help?
His commencement address at Harvard University.
" When I was 17 I read a quote that went something like " If you live each day as if it was your last, some day will most certainly be right"."
What does" some day will most certainly be right " mean ? Can anyone read between the lines or simply decipher the meaning ?
Answer: It probably said, "If you live each day as if it was your last, some day YOU will most certainly be right."
Basically he was taking an old adage and adding his own spin to it - live life to the fullest, but remember we will all die someday.

iTunes cheaper than free music - looking for old article featuring Steve Jobs?
I read an article once where Steve Jobs was quoted as arguing that iTunes was cheaper than downloading free music. Among the reasons were that, after all the searching and downloading is done, youve only saved 99 cents and anybody could spend that time more productively. Does anyone know the article or keynote Im referring to? Thanks.
Answer: That is correct.
It was probably in the keynote that caused this report

Did Steve Jobs say that LSD was one of the two most important things he had done in his life? Changed my life!
I would have to agree to that because if you look at the famous people that have tried LSD. Thomas Crick (nobel prize winner), Bill Gates.... Also inventor of the mouse (computer mouse) musicians as well.... the list goes on. It changed my life a lot. Agreed if taken in an unsafe environment it could be dangerous but the good effects definitely out way the bad. Teaches you to appreciate life and in this day and age a drug like LSD is necessary for mental evolution. Quote "Tune in, turn on and drop out". I just want to know if there are people out there that agree with this. Anyone? Is there anyone who has seen the world from that perspective? Also true that it is the least harmful substance in terms of toxicity. Less toxic than VITAMIN C!!!!!! Suprisingly potent though.
Answer: Yup he did. And it is true that LSD can change your life. Gotta agree with everything you said. Couldn't phrase it better myself. LSD teaches you how to be more than just an ordinary human being. Gives you a much wider perspective of the world and life. And hey makes you appreciate life a whole lot more.

Answer: I just need to comment on Aron's post.
I am a Mac user. I am a philosophy/religion double major. I am a musician, but my glasses have metal frames. And actually the majority of astrophysicists nowadays use macs.
