Many Singaporeans have free tickets to the Singapore Flyer and not purchasing the tickets themselves. Do u think Singaporeans will ride on that expensive thing? Most Singaporeans will go for free stuffs rather than using own pocket money, what do u all think? So is the press true saying that this flyer attracts many people? I dont think so.

Answer: You can't bring any snacks on board the Singapore Flyer, no idea why, but they're jerks... XP.. haha, though I'm a Singaporean myself.
Nah, they just want to keep the place clean.
Since you can't bring any food or snacks, but the best view is in the evening, I suggest you go on at 6pm or 6.30pm. If you have an early dinner, the sky may get too dark to see, but if you prefer that, then sure. Then after the ride you can go to those beautiful restaurants nearby some place else like the harbor or smth and have a nice dinner.
Or if you aren't hungry, best time would be 7pm? :)
