How do I get the American Ben & Jerrys flavours in the UK?
Im addicted to Ben & Jerrys ice-cream. There are SO many delicious flavours available in the US which we dont get in the UK (there are only a handful of flavours available over here). Is there a supplier in the UK that sells the US varieties? Ive tried looking at the company website and e-mailing the company, but so far, no good advice. Any tips would be hugely appreciated. And lol flying to America isnt a financial option for me at the moment!
Answer: I've actually done the research and emailed Ben & Jerry's about this, yes I do love it that much. Basically, The US has a way bigger population then here and Ben & Jerry's isn't as popular and there isn't an enough demand for more flavours. Join in me in sadness, come on, we can share a tub of half baked. =]

PETA Asking Ben & Jerrys to Change From Cow Milk to Breast milk, How do you feel?
I find that disgusting. I do not want breast milk in my ice cream and thank God Ben & Jerrys turned that offer down.
Answer: I think that there are some nice people who belong to Peta and some nuts. And unfortunately, the nuts seem to be in charge of the decisions. And if they spent half of this energy on human beings and feeding them and worrying about the ethical treatment of human beings, we would not have starving and homeless people.
Looking out for animals is great, but when you do it at the expense of mankind and treat animals better than your fellow human beings, you have crossed over to the dark side.
Now, if an individual wants to squirt their milk into the icecream maker in their home and whip up some icecream, go for it. But you do not have the right to tell us what we can eat. Or to tell a food manufacturer what products they can sell. I would not ever support a company to uses humans to create food. I am not eating icecream made from human breast milk any more than I would have a chicken fried steak of John Doe. Or a plate of human liver and onions. Jesus ate meat and so will I.
I once saw a Peta demonstration outside of a KFC in south Texas. This elderly couple was attempting to walk in and they were blocking their entrance to the door. Out of concern, I drove up and got out. What happened next made me dislike Peta greatly.
As I got out I heard this elderly man say 'excuse me please'. Nothing else. And he even said it nicely. Then members of this wonderful group proceeded to curse, scream and belittle this couple. Imagine this grandma and grandpa just going for dinner and having a group of people menancing them because of their personal choice. They were so scared they started back to their car and the group followed them shouting and cursing. Just spewing hate. And they did not allow this couple room to walk clearly to their car so the lady stumbled and fell. And they laughed at her. And then started screaming again.
And when I went to help the lady, a young man pushed me out of the way and told me to let her suffer like the animal she was about to eat.
Now, that is evil. It is one thing to have compassion for an animal. But to not also have compassion for mankind is hypocritical and evil. And those people should fall to their knees and ask God to forgive them for the hate they showed that couple.

Which shops are actually selling the 2 new Ben & Jerry flavours in the UK?
Hello all, a very passionate Ben & Jerrys fan here. According to their UK website, there are 2 new flavours: Chocolate Macademia Nut and Cheesecake Brownie. I really wanna get my hands on them, especially the last one. The website says that Tesco and Waitrose are selling them, aside from the cinemas, but Ive yet to see them. Has anyone managed to find them, and if so, in which shops? I live in London. Thanks everybody.
Answer: I havent seen them in any of my supermarkets yet. Maybe give it a couple more weeks. They sound amazing!

What has happened to Ben & Jerrys Chocolate Macadamia flavour in the UK?
I used to buy this flavour regularly (its the boyfriends favourite), but over the past few months I havent been able to find it. Ive looked in various supermarkets and online for it but it seems to have completely disappeared! I checked the Ben & Jerrys website for it and its not there in current flavours or the flavour graveyard (where they list all the old flavours), so where has it gone? Does anyone know?

Why do Ben & Jerrys ice cream only come in the small containers?
I eat ice cream every night, and Ben & Jerrys is by far the best out there in the supermarkets. But how come they only come in the small containers? Its annoying because each container only lasts me 2 nights.
Answer: A full gallon would cost too much.
It is expensive because they use high quality ingredients, and don't pump their cows full of hormones. They also operate with much higher social and environmental standards than your typical ice cream brand. All that adds to the cost.
You may be able to buy it in bulk directly from a Ben and jerry's store. That's a lot of ice cream, though!

Answer: First of all, Have a Happy Birthday! I don't know what the procedure is for getting your free ice cream cone from Ben and jerry's, since I've never gotten one from them on my b-day. I don't think B&J has a location in my area. My guess is to go to your local ice cream shop on your b-day and show them your ID. If you can do it online, I don't know, but my guess is probably. I'd google Ben and jerrys and the city and state you live in to see if a site pops up. I think Ben and jerrys is headquartered in Burlington,VT, so you can also try googling them and entering Ben and jerrys and then Burlington,VT.

As the title says, what is the best Ben and jerry's flavour?
How much does a pint of Ben & Jerrys ice cream cost where you live? And what is (are) your favorite flavors?
I live in Germany and Ben & Jerrys is SOOO expensive (5,49 € per pint!) and they have barely any flavors here (very sad!). I mostly want to know how much a pint costs in the States.
My favorite flavors are Chubby Hubby, Oatmeal Cookie, Chunky Monkey, Peanut Butter Cup, Cookie Dough (3 of which are not sold here!).

Answer: I live in Illinois and Ben and jerry's costs about $4 or more per pint depending on what store you go to. We do have millions of flavors though! Like every kind they make can be found at the store I shop at. They have light flavors, sorbets, frozen yogurt, and limited edition flavors along with all the regular flavors. It's like an entire isle of Ben and jerry's!
My favorite is Cookie Dough, hands down =)

How was tourism in Vermont affected by ben and jerrys ice cream?
I have a humungous assignment due and could use some help! I need to know how tourism was affected in Ben & Jerrys hometown of Vermont because of the ice-cream brand.
Answer: Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory in Waterbury is the largest tourist attraction in Vermont seeing about 300,000 visitors per year. Additionally, other attractions and such as Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Cabot Cheese outlet store, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Danforth Pewter, Cold Hollow Cider Mill plus smaller retailers, craft studios, restaurants, and lodging have located nearby because of the amount of traffic B&J draws. As the owner of a local lodging establishment, I can tell you from personal experience, that B&J is at the top of many tourists list of things to do, and even in some cases was the primary motivation to visit here. These same visitors spread out by also visiting Stowe and Burlington, plus spending in some of the villages while taking scenic drives. Likewise, the Alchemist Brewpub and Hen of the Wood restaurant have gained large amounts of fans that are drawn to Waterbury. But it was B&J that first put a stake in the ground in Waterbury and the town has grown ever since. The great ski brand of Stowe is also a major draw not only in winter but also in summer with a series of special events and seasonal activities like golf. Likewise, being right on Route 100, one of the most well known scenic roads in New England helps a great deal. In summary, I have never seen any numbers but it would not surprise me if B&J directly or indirectly brought many tens of millions of dollars to the Waterbury and northern VT area. Perhaps someone at B&J, the VT Dept of Tourism and Marketing, or a local college economics professor has conducted a study but I have not heard of one.

Why did Ben & Jerrys replace the UK Cherry Garcia with the low fat yogurt and remove the ice cream version?
Its available in the US as the ice cream and I got it here from a small ice cream vending machine, but its not available in the shops. Why dont they offer both varieties?
Yes, absolutely sure they dont sell both, you can go online to the supermarkets to shop and even they say low fat yogurt. Here in the UK the yogurt version is in bright blue packaging whereas the Ice cream version is in the normal packaging. Plus it has fair size lettering across the front.
Answer: OMG that was my favourite. You can still get the ice cream version in Blockbuster but not in the supermarkets, they must have different suppliers.

Got some coupons for really cheap pints of Ben & Jerrys ice cream. Looking for good flavors and am really up for anything. I know theyre famous for a lot of their original ideas.

Answer: If you can find it, black and tan (chocolate ice cream swirled with cream stout ice cream).
Cherry Garcia is always a fav as is Karmel Sutra.
Whirled Peace is another one.
Phish food is a favorite in my house although not one of my top picks.

Oh, and be forewarned: if you don't eat and entire pint (but at least half) in one sitting, there's this feeling of inadequacy in reference to being unable to have portion control. Yet if you polish off the pint, there's a feeling of superior-ness. :)

Why did Ben & Jerry have to give up their business to Unilever when they really didnt want too?
I have to do a paper on Ben & Jerrys ice cream and I cant find out why they had to give up their business if they didnt want too. I have to explain why the sale of Ben & Jerrys occurred, even though they companys founders did not want it to happen. Also is the company more profitable now under Unilever?

How old do you have to be to work at Ben & Jerrys?
What is the required age to work at Ben and jerrys or really any ice cream creamery? I am 17 yrs old and live in Michigan if that helps. And for those who have worked in a ice cream place before,do all you do is work behind the counter and serve ice cream or are their other positions? Answer: You can for sure get hired at Cold Stone Creamery, some even start working there at age 14. For Ben&Jerry's, the working age is probably around 16 so you will be fine:d
