Why People Think That Singapore Short of Transportation?
Singapore transportation is the first class.But some people dont appreaciate it. There are many transportation eg. Trains like SMRT and SBS Transit -
East-West Line, North South Line, North East Line and the coming Circle Line in 2011.
SMRT Buses and SBS Transit Buses everywhere in Singapore.
First Class Taxis Services.
All have but why people think that Singapore is still short of transportation?
Answer: to certain extent, I agree with calvin, i think generally is good, (esp mrt and cabs)...just that it is not there when we need it... also, bus services is kinda "monopolised" by 1/2 company, and they get to decide
a. the route (which sometimes a bus is made to go round and round when it actually can cut down the time if its direct)
b. the fare (yes yes yes, I know it is cheap already... ("x")
c. the quality of drivers (i dun mean the service level, but more imptly,the safety consciousness...it seems there's an increase in accident rate, and when these accidents happen, the orgn just terminate the drivers, din it occur to them that they need to pay more attn in er.hm..training or even down to selection of driver criteria?)

A Malaysian named Ah Meng dies and arrives in hell. He finds that there is a different hell for each country and he can choose which hell he wants to go to. He first goes to the Singapore hell. There outside the door is Ah Lian, looking bored. Ah Meng asks, “What do they do here?”
Ah Lian replies, “First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the Singapore devil comes in and whips your butt for the rest of the day.”
“That’s terrible!” gasps Ah Meng. He is terrified! “I’m going to check out the other hells!”, he yells. He checks out the Thailand hell, the Indian hell as well as the Russian hell and many more. He discovers that they are all more or less the same as the Singapore hell. You get tortured to death basically!
Then he comes to the Malaysian hell and discovers a huge line of people waiting to get in. The line circles around the lobby five times before receding off into the horizon. Ah Meng pushes his way through to the head of the line. Amazed he asks “What do they do here?”
He is told “First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the Malaysian devil comes in and whips your butt for the rest of the day.”
“But… but that’s the same as all the other hells! Why are there so many people waiting to get in?” Ah Meng protests pointing to the long queue.
“True, but because maintenance is so bad that the electric chair does not work, someone has stolen all the nails from the bed, and the devil is a former Gormen servant, so he comes in, signs the register and then goes to the canteen for teh-tarik…”
Ah Meng faints!!!

Answer: actually, i believe it's the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
Technically speaking, SMRT who will be running the lines is supposedly just involved in the daily management and operations.

Hi.im 19m this year from singapore.i thinking of buying olay products recently.but im not veri sure which to buy.my skin is getting older as day pass.i look so borin and stress everyday.so im lookin for a good anti aging moisturizer.i heard olay is good.i do drink lots of water.i have dry and oily skin.there are also acne scars remain on my face.dark circles oso!!!but most important i want my skin to look young and healthy.ive oily skin but lines are coming out.im stress.anyone can save mi?...thank you.
Answer: I use the regular Olay (originally Oil of Olay) and also wash my face with Dove soap. I am 44, and people usually think I am in my 30's, some even say late 20's. (I say God bless them!)
I actually think a lot of it is genetics, but my 87 year old grandmother has been using Dove soap ever since I can remember and she has the softest, prettiest skin. I do primarily drink water myself. I think this is key. I don't think you have to spend a lot of money, just be diligent. Try a little petroleum jelly around your eyes after your nightly face cleaning routine.

Waterfalls and jungles in southern, West Malaysia :)?
im travelling to singapore at start of feb for a couple of days, then making my way up to KL over a couple more days to then fly out to taiwan for about two weeks.
im really keen to explore the jungle for a day, and/or go snorkelling for another day.
has anyone been down this end before, or does anyone know any where good to do this, along the train/bus line to KL from JB? (area circled in red here http://zip.4chan.org/trv/src/1260176984390.gif)
any details would be really awesome. and id like to avoid as many tourists as possible.

Answer: From Singapore, you can travel up to Johor Bahru and then go eastwards to Desaru Waterfall. Weather in Johore region is wet especially in the afternoon. The north-east monsoon will still be blowing and bringing rain to the eastern parts of Peninsula Malaysia till February.

How to get rid of the lines under my eyes?
i have been having these lines under my eyes to gether with dark eye circles. However, treating or covering black circles is easy, but the lines just wont go away. i need a really good cream to get rid of these lines and im only 17 sobs.. the cream should be affordable and good about 20 to 35 dollars and should be found in Singapore/..

what are the circular survey marks on the ground near construction sites used for? (Singapore)?
i work in Chinatown in Singapore (along Southbridge Road) where there has been very heavy construction for the new MRT lines. there are many circular surveyor marks on the ground, particularly circles in red spray paint - i am curious as to what precisely they are marking out or how are they used?

Knowing nothing about surveying, I've tried googling with different keywords just out of curiosity. The only thing I could come up with is that there are evidently seven types of survey marks used, at least in Malaysia, but I have no idea what would distinguish between them.
