I would like to know if both of my girlfriend and I go to Singapore or Malaysia as visit visa and marry in there. Can we apply for marry in ROM. To register your marriage at Malaysia. both of you need to provide supporting documents: Passports,1 colour photo for each applicant (32 mm x 38 mm), Letter confirming status of marriage for non-citizens from the applicant’s country of origin (affidavit of marital status), If previous marriages were terminated by divorce, both parties must submit original or certified copy of final or absolute divorce decree. If terminated by death of a spouse, submit original or certified copy of the death and marriage certificates, and application form "Borang JPN KCO1" for normal or special marriage (you can get it at the local JPN office).

To register your marriage at Singapore, you need to file a Notice of Marriage first. To be eligible to ROM in Singapore, at least 1 party must have stay in Singapore for 15 continuous days before he/she filing a Notice of Marriage. Same as Malaysia ROM, you will need to obtain affidavit of eligibility/ freedom to marry or Certificate of No Impediment to register your marriage in Singapore. good luck.

I am looking for some online games or computer programs to use as supplemental learning time for my 1st grader, any suggestions? He does like PBS kids, I am just looking for a bit more variety?
Also, anyone have any experience with Singapore Math Rainbow Rock CD-ROM? Worth it?
Answer: We have the SIngapore CD-ROM called Vroot and Vroom and we really like it. It goes right along with they are learning in the book and the games were fun for my kids. (My 3rd son is going to use it this year.) I would recommend it but you might be able to find games online for free that would accomplish the same goals and still be just as much fun.

1. Get consent from MOM first and later only ROM in Singapore or
2. register outside of Singapore then only get consent from MOM
Answer: It's better to get consent from MOM.
If a Singapore citizen married a work permit holder, the work permit holder will be barred from entering Singapore. Am not sure if the rules apply the same to PR.
To make thing simpler, wait till your spouse to be become a PR too.

Looking for a nice place for our ROM ceremony.
1) hopefully i have my guests served with lunch buffet at the same place.
2) looking for budget at a range from $20-$45
3) number of guests range from 15 to 30

Answer: Your friends should take the effort to find out. You are not the one who is getting married anyway. Indian marriages are extremely complicated involving their relations all the way. The civil wedding is the easy part.

Singapore Wedding ROM Venue Recommendations?
I m looking for a Venue for ROM in Singapore.
Most Singaporeans will hold it either at the ROM office followed by a beffect reception at either partys home, or a buffet reception at a Condominium Multi Purpose Hall or Pool Side.
I m looking for somewhere special, and can accomodate approx 40 guest. Not really looking at Hotels receptions as they might be costly.
Will Be Holding a Full Chinese Customary wedding reception in future. So this is just for the ROM..
